Would've probably been easier to just write my own list but I'm too lazy.
This series was never good.
N.Gin Labs song is so fucking good.
This one is better. Papu's Pyramid is obviously the best track.
It was one game fampai
The best part about Crash music is that it's still outstanding music even outside the context of the game.
There was a ps2 crash kart racer that was pretty fun, now that I mention it, I think I gotta give it another playthrough.
Do you think the shortcut in oxide station was intentional? You can skip almost like half a lap and it seems stupidly overpowered. If I remember correctly, that shortcut was shown in a bonus video on the japanese version of the game, but it still doesn't feel intentional to me.
Crash nitro kart was absolute dogshit compared to this masterpiece. Tag team racing was alright, although it was really dumb since all you had to do was combine with some fucker and shoot yourself out right before the finish. On top of that I had 10 times more fun exploring the open world rather than the races themselves.
All in all, go play this masterpiece instead, you will not be dissapointed. It may very well be the greatest kart racer ever made (it is in my opinion). The only one that comes close and is open for debate to be better is the old diddy kong racing.
Papu's Pyramid is objectively the best most skillful track in the game
I already played them both kiddo, maybe try giving some fucking reasons why nitro kart was dogshit instead of spewing your childish incoherent trash and maybe you will get a discussion going.
How are those two better than Sewer Speedway? It has the greatest shortcut in the game and drifting up on walls is satisfying as hell
>Cortex Castle isnt N1
Cant do anything about that shit taste, OP
If you already played both then you should know why one is great and the other shit. The answer is of course the handling of the kart. It was not as good in nitro kart and lacked the finesse team racing had.
How about you also give me some fucking arguments instead of immediately resorting to insults and memes.
If we do get a remake. Are there any new characters or courses you'd like to see added?
I like Diddy Kong racing but it is significantly overrated
for one thing the game runs very poorly
Diddy Kong racing really just doesn't hold a candle to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed
it's hilarious how you start with the "LE DOGSHIT" with no fucking reasons then when you get called out on it suddenly it's such a fucking shame you're getting called out for being the actual faggot that you are and I'm the dickhead.
Anyways, the controls are literally exactly the fucking same, go play it sometime, kid.
Nitro kart wasn't bad but comparing it to CTR is like comparing crash 3 to Wrath of cortex. On the surface they are pretty similar but they just play a bit differently. One gripe I have with it is just how slow the karts go compared to the first game.
>all the karts are slightly slower
wow, that's enough to say "Crash nitro kart was absolute dogshit"
kill yourself, kid
I haven't played Mario Kart 8 but I've definitely had an eye on it. It looks pretty good and the only complaint I know I'll have is that it doesn't use the magnificent drift boost system from CTR. I really wish nintendo would just say fuck it and copy it over. I don't know what it is, but the way your kart jumps mix with the boost just feels so damn good.
False, the physics in nitro kart feel far from perfect. Turning is way worse and the overall speed feels a lot slower. It lacks polish and the drift boosting is just not as fun to me. I completed CTR like 20 times and can't even bother ever replaying nitro kart. Also you're just fucking shitposting at this point. You're "calling me out" on what, my subjective opinion which you appear to have taken as fact? Spewing my childish incoherent trash, because I like a video game you don't? Go fuck yourself for posting trash like this. The sheer fact that you honestly believe that the controls are the exact same shows that you have no clue what you're talking about.
jesus, calm down. I wasn't even the person you were screaming at.
THE TROPHY'S MINE... !
ctr remaster PLEASE with multiplayer. everyone knows ctr is better than marioshart
>le screaming
neck yourself
they're exactly the fucking same, literally the ONLY difference in the game is that you don't go over the max speed limit with a powerslide, which is why the game feels so much faster to you literal retards, this whole physics nonsense is just pulling shit out of your ass.
Which one?
>they're exactly the fucking same
>the only difference
Great argument you got there. It's almost like you actually understand they're different but are afraid to admit it because it doesn't fit your narrative.
It's also not just that, nitro kart is more bouncy in a bad way. And just like you said, nitro kart not allowing you to go over max speed with the powerslide just sucks the fun out of it, especially seeing as the tracks in nitro kart were a lot more open/longer and would've actually benefited more from this.
How to make millions of dollarydoos:
>make online multiplayer for CTR
That's it,they don't even have to fucking remake the game like they did with the original trilogy.
keep reaching, bucko.

get back @ me when you educate yourself
before the zero gravity area you drive up a slope and if you jump off the track towards the right at the end of the slope you can land on a track far below it which you should be driving on later in the lap. It's one of the few jumps you can make without the aku/uka mask resetting your position
>Linking the console crushed to shit MIDI version
>not the original master

I could post the exact same videos to you, shitposter-kun. Just look at how much better it feels in CTR to powerslide, by getting that neat extra speed out of it. Nitro kart on the other hand shows the player keeping the exact same fucking speed over almost the entire track even in between powerslides and other boosts. You can also clearly see how much fucking bouncier nitro kart is.
>when even speedrunners realize that the speedcap makes speed characters non viable
jej
now it's shitposting, huh? that's funny, first I was just being contrarian and now i'm shitposting, where will it go next!
Both games use Coco to speedrun, what's your point?
you think Kemp does more Kart Coco art? Maybe some stuff with in at the garage? Would be nice.

I guess an Egyptian, Chinese, Arabian and a prehistoric level would be cool.
>now it's shitposting, huh? that's funny, first I was just being contrarian and now i'm shitposting, where will it go next!
I never called you a contrarian to start with. Second you were shitposting from your very first post. Thirdly I love how you absolutely ignored anything and everything I said up to this point and just resorted to insulting me rather than my opinion.
Let me add to that using your powerslide boost in CTR can make or break your jump to a certain shortcut. If you do it to early you'll have lost too much speed, if you do it too late you won't be able to jump in time and will fail as well. In nitro kart on the other hand you can just flail away at the powerslide boost without having to worry about anything. There is no sense of reward or punishment for holding out your boost until the very end or for using your boost as soon as you can. None of these things matter because you'll just be going at the speedcap either way.
Now please go fuck yourself with a cactus while thinking about how wrong you are.
>Spewing my childish incoherent trash, because I like a video game you don't? Go fuck yourself for posting trash like this
you.
Saying a game is dog shit and giving no credible reasons isn't an argument.

somebody convince me to play this game again, ive been meaning to play it but i keep holding off of it
>Hot Air Skyway
>Not at the very top
Discarded.
Only tracks I'm not a fan of are Coco Park, Dingo Canyon and Turbo Track
No good shortcuts and few jumps.
The one big shortcut you can take is unintentional and kinda kills the pacing of race seeing as you need to drive the wrong way to take it.
>Needing shortcuts
>Not knowing the straight narrow line shortcut
>Not knowing the blimp shortcut
>Not winning the race on driftboosting skill alone
I was just listing reasons why it doesn't deserve spot nr. 1. It's a great track that definitely belongs among the top, but there's definitely some room for a few improvements.
It's the hardest track for shortcuts though because its best shortcuts aren't meant to be used normally.
>How are those two better than Sewer Speedway?
Personal preference. Papu's Pyramid is just the iconic CTR track for me and Polar Pass, on top of being a lot of fun, has one of the most standout boost-required shortcuts in the game. Like you say though, Sewer Speedway is also a high-tier track.
Sewer speedway is fun to race on but is incredibly bland design wise. Papu pyramid looks good and takes a lot of technical skill so it definitely deserves to be near the top.
