is this good?
Is this good?
It's a blander, stupider, more repetitive dark souls, but holy fuck is the combat a million times more fun once you get into all the stance and weapon switching.
good
you'll get your shit pushed
Enemy variety is kinda shit, because all this "SAMURAI DARK SOULS" meme. But it's more like a diablo in terms of world building and progression, so everything good and makes sense.
I had and still having fun. 999 floors of abyss awaits me
The games tries to land a lot of cheap shots at you, a lot. I am not even kidding, there's an enemy or trap behind every corner. Bosses are really fun, but can feel unfair, especially early on when you're probably not very accustomed the game yet. The game itself is good, I enjoyed it most of the times.
It's tons of fun, amazing, responsive and deep gameplay. Play it.
fucken this. BB was a blast but this game is so much more fun. okatsu best waifu
it's a lot of fun but very repetitive and doesn't have much going for it outside of the combat
expect to get very addicted for about 10 hours and then get bored
starts out great but gets pretty repetitive later on due to lack of enemy variety. Around the time I started seeing the same enemies only reskinned with a different color, I was just ready for it to end. I believe it was around the spider castle. Lack of weapon variety did it for me too, everything just felt so samey. If you like grinding and farming for better gear a la Diablo, you might get some fun out of the end game.
That's a weird way to spell Tome.
It feels very video gamey with its mission selects. The cheap ass Japanese aesthetic annoyed me so I didn't care enough to git gud. Put it down after the vampire lady fight. Really didn't like this game tbph
>It feels very video gamey with its mission selects
how is this a bad thing?
I just started playing it and its awesome. Combat system is really the best part. Story is weak and all over the place but what do you expect from Tecmo. Worth a play.
No
Play Dark Souls
...
I dont know but i didnt like it either.
plebs
>non-ants version
Does nioh use online as a major feature?
just player graves that you can summon as a npc and kill for free gear
but you can summon a friend like Bloodborne
worst girl
looks like a jap twink
yeah
if you need a friend for anything sub way of the wise you're shit
I like it but it's a bit short. Nioh 2 should have less loot and more levels. Mayhap a hub world or one continous world. Everything else is pretty nice. Playing it ATM
sorry you don't have friends user
most my friends just drag me down and make shit harder than it should be
Is that you can or can you?
Genuinely curious as i want to play this game but all i ever hear is how hard it is. I'm used to souls games but even they piss me off for as many evenings as the good ones
Not really, but there's graves all over the place, alike to blood stains in Souls games. There's also a bit of co-op which is fairly fun to do with random people, really. The waiting times are pretty short, so you're usually right into the action after like 30 seconds. The game really leans towards a single-player experience.
It's great. I bought it for PC last week and have yet to put it down. Don't bother with mouse and keyboard controls though. Get a controller. The eastern aesthetic is refreshing after playing the dark souls games. Team ninja made a point to include lots of explanations for japanese mythology and some history too. It's far more worthy of it's price than the last game I purchased which was destiny 2.
The combat is fantastic but the lack of variety is a real damper on it.
It seemed fine, but it's bosses so far have been pretty shitty. The only one I enjoyed was the guy with two balls on the ship. The human bosses don't react to your attacks like they should and the monster bosses are buggy trash. I actually stopped playing when I reached the centipede because I was astounded they actually let that thing through Alpha testing, let alone into the full game.
The gear system is also shit but if you like their way of handling weapons in the Warriors games you might enjoy it since it's the same thing for all gear.
I really liked the mechanics but couldn't be bothered to get past zone 4, as it was really REALLY repetitive.
I enjoyed the Alpha test way more than the final game for some reason.
The combat is amazing but i had to fucking drop it when things got too repetitive and they threw an Onryoki at me for the fifth fucking time.
gear starts mattering more in NG+ and the DLC
did the pc version get fixed?
did a modder have to do it like with nier?
Tasteless shitters, uninstall and play dark souls 2 with me instead when i get a new gamepad
I fucking hate the random garbage loot. That's why I haven't played a looter game since Diablo 2. Other than that though this game is probably the best action game released this year.
Gameplay is great but its way longer than it deserves considering how little diversity there is between areas and enemies.
fixed how
performance issues? Not really but it ran fine for most people
Locked framerate/low resolution options? No.
Mouse support? KT did that themselves
