I really just don't know how Capcom managed to fuck the game up THIS bad, we can't keep blaming The Mouse for the roster when the roster is only one of many problems. The initial reveal with Ryu, X, Iron Man, and Carol was the only time it really felt like a polished, worthy successor. Pretty much everything after that was such a letdown. Pre-release is supposed to be a hype train with kickass character reveals who get kickass trailers but we got none of that, not a single Infinite character reveal was as hype as even the most mediocre of 3 reveals.

I still maintain that the core gameplay has great potential and can easily be fixed, but there's SO MUCH work to be done to polish up the rest of the game and it still might be impossible to undo all the bad faith. Odds are no matter what we're stuck with the shitty models, the shitty voices, the shitty roster choices like Spencer, etc., can't wash that stink off. The work is done and paid for, they're not doing it again.

No, they want all of Fox's franchises because they're launching a netflix competitor in 2019 and shows like The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers, Gordon Ramsey programs, etc would all be very helpful in selling yet another streaming service.

Melee is legit one of the deepest fighters and requires the most technical execution and some of the fastest reads.

Justice League was shit, but they really have done a terrible job with Hawkeye in the MCU. He's kinda the Avenger's Wolverine to Captain America's Cyclops in the sense that he's the rebel always questioning orders, but has a grudging respect. Making him a SHIELD op was a quick way to establish him, but he's kinda just a yes man in both Avengers movies. Civil War did hint at a more traditional Clint, but he only had like three scenes. The funny thing is Jermey Renner in interviews is very Hawkeye-esque. Just let him be himself more and I want some crazy arrow shenanigans.

There are far more humble, more deserving, and more exciting games that deserve a chance to shine than that 17-year-old solved trainwreck that always comes down to the same Top 8 each year, give the Killer Instinct community or the Guilty Queer players some love instead of rotating them out each year because something paid more to get in or their company released a new game that plays nothing like it, why does it always have to be different for the community whose members use rare, specially-manufactured controllers and quit tournaments because they don’t access to them for a moment?

Changing the sounds and particle effects does not make different playstyles. I love the game, but 99% of matches are determined by who gets the first hit in.

I think Maximilian genuinely loves playing Infinite, it's just that—truth be told, despite the entire foundation of his YouTube/Twitch career for the past decade being fighting games—he's not particularly good at or knowledgeable about them. He never reaches the heights where he has to kink his neck to the side to fit under the skill ceiling, so he feels like he has all the freedom in the world. Not to knock him, he's just a guy who loves to have fun, but he never advances beyond being a scrub stomping online warrior with redimentary setups and BnBs at his disposal. He has the time of his life doing what he does but people are mistaken in looking to him as an authority on Infinite or DBFZ.

I've wanted a new good Marvel fighting game for such a long while. I love MvC but 90% of the time I just played Marvel characters because that's the side I am most interested in. Capcom has cool characters, yes, but superheroes and supervillains beating the shit out of each other with lots of flashy effects on fast paaced gameplay is the thing I want to see
