When does this become fun?

Did I get memed? It's my first AC game, jumped on a black friday sale because my friends were raving about it and it had good reviews.

Feels like a poor man's horizon.

>not just waiting for the crack

I find the story 4/10 at best from what I've seen and read, try doing something that isn't the main story

WUZ

>AC
>fun

Are there actually black Kangz in the game though?

I had fun with most AC games except Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy and its strange non-linear fucking around
Will this game be more like previous games or what?

Faggots

It's great. Better than MGSV for sure. First 1-2h are pretty bland. But the environment is amazing and you are a millennial.

Story takes a bit to pick up but when it does it’s really good. Gameplay is a massive improvement over previous games as well desu. Can’t just spend the whole time countering and there’s none of that Unity bullshit of being shot by an enemy off-screen

>It's my first AC game
oh you sweet summer child, Assassin's Checklist was never good, aside from visuals and architecture

Assassin's Creed games are awful. The only good one is black flag, except the story missions wich are generally bad too.

>Horizon steals half its mechanics from AC
>Gets publicity because of fued with botw
>AC steals mechanics back, along with a bunch of other games styles
>Feels like a poor man's horizon
I think that's what makes it good. I've been into AC since the start and when I played this I thought it was shit because of how many things were copied from other games but then they all started to work together while doing camp raids and quests etc and it becomes kinda comfy, like the others do.
That's just me though

>he fell for the Assassin's Creed meme

If you weren't underageb& you would've played the original when it was all the rage and realized it was shit then.

2 was great fuck you

Nah. The AI was brain dead and the combat consisted of pushing the counter button and watching your character murder everybody

who plays ass creed for the combat

If you enjoy repeating the same 3 missions over and over, maybe. Face it, the series is objectively the definition of nu-fun. You perform a menial task, waste your time, and then rationalize that the time must have been well spent.

I mostly just enjoyed exploring and Ezio. Also I'm not interested in whatever buzzword you learned today thanks.

>Who plays a game for the gameplay
CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE

>AC is a poor man's poor man's Zelda

There is far more to gameplay than just combat, you adhd retard.

i lik da part wher da aliums talk to da player i startd clapping then

oh yes, who could forget the brilliant walking mechanics, the blending in mechanics, and climbing mechanics. So enjoyable. Really made the entire game worth it for me.

I replayed the Ezio collection recently and 2 was not great. It is entirely checklists and repeated missions.
>Every codex page is guarded by 4 guards and there is ALWAYS a group of Mercs, thieves or sluts nearby to distract them.
>Every beat up event is to protect a woman
>Every courier mission is a letter to someone
>Every assassination is rooftop run to jump kill
The lairs and assassin tombs are cool and the story is okay but the climbing is horrible and blocky, stealth is severely hindered if you aren't in a crowd or god forbid, try to go non lethal and it looks and looked objectively worse than the original AC.

Look at how triggered you are at an opinion, grow up kid.

When I played it originally like 8yrs ago it was pretty good.

No

at the time yeah it was great but now that the twist is pretty much spoiled and finished it's just as average as the others

I would play a remake of the original if it has Origins' mechanics. AC1 had the best setting by far.

A lot of bad games seemed good when i played them as a kid. I wouldn't blame you.
When i played it i found it bland and boring.
The only AC i have enjoyed is Black Flag, mostly because there aren't many good pirate games (hated when i was on land tough)

>better than mgsv

Not with that janky control its not

>feels like a poor man's [game that basically mimicked ubiworld games]
No way op

Agreed. I wouldn't play it again nor any arse creed for that matter (maybe 4). I might play Origins if/when it gets cracked but I really couldn't care less, I know I'd just get bored in an hr or two like with most games nowadays and it just looks super fucking derivative.

Yh, I was a bit of an autist in all fairness. I just liked going around the world, even in the first which many hated I found all the feathers and really quite liked it. I also enjoyed 4 for the same reason as you but every mission was the same old tired shit, the ONLY good thing was the pirate aspect and everything ac just hurt it.
