RE6 was actually pretty damn good.
It also has the best B.O.W designs and the best Mercenaries mode

You're entitled to your opinion and all but go fucking kill yourself.
I'm sorry I don't follow the hive mind of autistic resident evil fans who shit themselves if there's even a spec of action in their games :^)
>best BOW designs
>zombies with guns
4 has plenty of action and still managed to be great. 6 felt like some hollywood rendition of re, it was awful, like rivaled the latter movies bad.
RE4 was an action game too, my dude.
6 was also way too easy. You can just steamroll over everything.
re6 is garbage. re4-5 are medocore.
play the real Re games 1,2,3,CV
I am senpai
>20 hours of playtime in REmaster
>only just now getting to Yawn and the death mask
I forgot i was terrible, I try and dodge too much and horde all my shit
RE6 is shit the only good part was mercenary mode, its mediocre game play at best with retard puzzles
4 is good, you should give it a try when you're done with the others. It's critically acclaimed for a good reason, I promise. Just don't expect the same Resi experience
I plan on playing just about all, and yes I know all the differences between the games. Gonna take a long while though, I'm going in blind and making minimal use of walkthroughs.
it is a sequel's sequel. it is pure schlock, dumbed down and fun yet somewhat unfulfilling. still a great time with a buddy, not that great playing alone. also, way too easy, even on harder difficulties. the movement is kinda sticky and unresponsive, but the dodging is excellent and so much fucking fun to execute. more games need diving and sliding while shooting.
>unfulfilling, too easy >good game
>the state of the capcom shills
thank god capcom released RE7 as a survival horror instead of your action shit.
Waiting for people complaining about RE2 being too hard.
I hope you are playing as Jill
>Got ignored in in the other thread
>Try Making a thread
>got BTFO again
way to be insecure actioncuck
>20 hours of playtime in REmaster

What the actual fuck??
Of course. QT and extra inventory
I will save this thread OP
To be fair I spent several hours messing with zombies and trying to get through stuff without using items. Also no guides, never played this version of the game either.
I've played RE all me life but never actually been decent/or finished one. I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of it.
Where does she keep the two extra items?
You know where.
I gave RE6 another chance a few months ago and I actually agree
I really like the twitchy counter based mercs mode, the occasional stunlock fucks me off but aside from that I felt encouraged to try and get over a million points with every character on at least one map
Magnum Zombies can fuck off though actually
Still really glad I gave it another shot and decided to forgive the stamina bar for existing, it does do a little to make you adapt and I can appreciate that
...
>best Mercenaries mode
Revelations 2 unironically has better combat and controls with Raid Mode
raid mode is boring shit and nothing like mercenaries
>Sherry Wolverine
wew, the loli is better
It's outright better than the same old horde mode that Mercenaries has been for 20+ years now.
>Wolverine
???
No he's right it's boring methodical and shit. The mercenaries mode actually can get intense and six has the best movement to accompany it, raid mode is just slower with less enemies coming at you at a time.
I agree that it was good in that it had mountains of content that I didn't NOT enjoy, but there was certainly a LOT about it that could have been better handled.
At least they give you the option to turn off QTE fail states. That alone bumped up my opinion of it after first impressions.
strong healing factor.
>The mercenaries mode actually can get intense and six has the best movement to accompany it,
I'd argue it gets more repetitive with only score and waves of more bullet sponge enemies in the same 6 maps.
Movement is subjective, the dedicated dodge button is more personally fun/useful than the DMC shooting in RE6
Oh yeah duh. Also don’t call her that other thing. It’s rude and also incorrect.
all of the campaigns are awful, terrible trash full of QTEs and setpieces that don't let you actually have any fun with the combat system
Much as I like 2 and REmake, those games were NEVER scary or challenging beyond a gradeschool level for each category.
Telling me to play the old RE games is like telling me to go back and watch the Tim Curry "It" movie over the new one. Yeah, it was scary when you were a kid, but it doesn't have the lasting impact as an adult beyond nostalgia. Nostalgia isn't enough to have a good experience. Same goes for 7; even though I enjoyed the first three or so hours, replaying it doesn't give me the same effect because it's not terribly scary and I'm not really having a whole lot of fun, and call me a faggot all you want, but even if they aren't all perfect, RE4 and beyond played heavily on RE's strengths (being heavily armed while fighting horrific bioweapons that shrug off ordinance like a madcunt to create tension) far better than the old games did, even if everything after 4 doesn't manage to hit the same notes as 4 did.
It had good parts. It also had a lot of bad, and overall the art direction is boring. They kind of lost their way with the series after 4. Thank god they shifted gears with 7 over to something so much better.
So all that shit you wrote = “he is a nostalgic action faggot”
I'm really not a fan of it. The campaigns were far too stuffed with action to the point that it was numbing. There was no pacing to it, and chasing and beating the same "bad guy" in Leon's campaign over and over again was dull as fuck
