Almost all of the ideas in this thread would be actually really fun because of their sheer absurdity. OP’s works because it actually tries to be bad, rather than just “dude unlikely combinations lmao”
Here’s an example of an actual bad crossover: Puyo Puyo x Undertale. Gameplay of Undertale but with Puyo matches instead of Bullet Hell segments. Undertale gets most of the spotlight, and the charm of the Puyo characters tries and fails to balance out with the lolsorandum Undertale humor. Almost all of the music is Undertale remixes, with very few Puyo tracks getting recognition apart from le 2 player Mean Bean Machine song. There is a genocide route, and this time you’re killing characters you actually care about. Pacifist route ends with the Puyo going back to their main dimension never to be seen again, with the UT cast doing a Forces-tier “now let’s fix this mess...just us this time.”
