Loved The Witcher 2 and 3 but I'm good with the series being done.

Also, they should go full stat based in place of the character progression in previous witcher games.

i dont even know who lives long enough to see cyberpunk witcher 4 just sounds futuristic.

A prequel set somewhere before Season of Storms. You are Geralt, but without Ciri bullshit. Your reputation is still to be established, you don't know Yen or Dandelion yet. No connections with kings. If you get sucked into politics in game, it's to a significantly smaller scale. Open world, but smaller than W3, more fleshed out in exchange. You are basically hunting monsters, but this time combat is good and each and every single significant monster (if they really want to put some easy monsters it should be drowners at best, the rest should be tough) is hard as fuck, requires knowledge and preparation (including getting info as described in The Witcher short story), and different kind of monsters require the use of different, complex tactics (something like fighting striga in The Witcher short story, but different depending on monster and the goal [kill or heal - as for the latter, there are plenty examples of how it could be done in books]). At the end of the game you fight Adda the striga.

That's what I want and that's what Witcher games should have been in the first place. Focus on monster fights. Make them tough. Make them interesting. Make them imaginative.

There's nothing I want more than Witcher game where I spend three in game days straight asking people relevant to case for info, investigating survivors' injuries, listening to gossip regarding monsters, investigating the area near monster, deciding which elixir to use (number of elixirs you can carry should be limited to 1-2 elixir of each kind, in books Geralt only had a small box with them, probably one of each kind), fighting the monster and barely surviving, all while getting called a freak and alienated by common folk. Unironically.
