It's true. Dark Souls ends on such a good platform for a sequel and they completely fucked it up. Bloodborne doesn't really lend its ending to a sequel so it's already something shouldn't even be on the table -- even if it had the best game play of the family

Fuck, I forgot that Tenchu Z even had coop. It didn't need it at all because the game was piss easy (and then you got sneaky steps and that black blade which was teetering on T.G.Cid levels of overpowered)

It's a a dark Tenchu reboot or a new IP. I love bloodborne but a sequel is not a good idea. Keeping it it's own thing like demon's soul would make the game stand out more and be memorable. Having a sequel which Fromsoft track record will most likely fail to achieve the same greatness as the original will just ruin the idea behind the game.

Tenchu combat is not good and was always a weak point of the game honestly souls combat could help a bit.

If it's an eastern setting I just won't bother. The shoehorned "eastern" bullshit that finds its way into Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Bloodborne is the stupidest fucking shit. I don't like that shit existing in those settings, it just should not.

The only reason it is there is because the developer is Japanese and they want to stroke their own egos. They should have left it out, Japanese swords don't make sense in the Souls setting. Bloodborne it is debatable but I still don't like it.

I love how people say they won't buy it if it's set in feuderal japan, which is obviously is going to be, because you know these niggas are going to buy it day one and hail it as something on par with ds1 or bb, especially if it's a console exclusive.

I think it makes equal sense in demon's souls too because people are travelling to Boletaria from afar in search of these fabled demons, and like, if you pick certain classes their attire insinuates that they are from the east (like the thief class).

It's a /little/ more of a stretch in dark souls I suppose, just in terms of lore, but I wouldn't blame japanese game devs for throwing in some asian inspired weapons (usually dex and usually pretty cool).

Guy who works in publishing for SIE here, Bloodborne 2 is absolutely in development right now, but this teaser is too vague for me to know if it's for Bloodborne or one of the couple other games FROM SOFTWARE is apparently working on.
They plan to have Miyazaki - Kojima - Ueda - Toyama - Hashino and one other Director as their Japanese focus.
