1) That's not how witness protection works.
2) That's not how dealing with a demented sociopath works
Sure, they were both in the wrong, but that's just because Michael is a bit of a sociopath as well. Just like Trevor, he doesn't seem to trust anyone, even his best friend. I doubt it would have mattered, though.

Although I guess Michael is probably more of a sociopath than Trevor. Trevor seems to care a bit more about other people even if he is a psychopath. I literally just looked up the definitions for both of those words and realized I may have used the wrong one at first

it doesn't matter because the story mode was awful and all effort went into the cash shop. the most hilarious thing is despite all the shit that happened the reconcile after the game; if you play as michael and pick up trevor for an activity they work it out and are friends again after a 5 minute car ride.

Michael's family is a bunch of fucktards. Michael is just a drunk who enjoys living vicariously through old cinema movies while getting trashed 24/7 then wonders why his family doesn't love him.

Trevor is a psychotic meth head who abuses everyone around him.

Franklin is just a hood rat

I dunno. Trevor fits that bill more than Franklin. He's the one who's always tougher and more clever and more persistent than he has any right to be and he's always saying lolrandum things and everyone just kinda has to love him for it or else he'll kill them.

We as the player were meant to identify more with Franklin than the other two characters. He's got some talents, but he still doesn't know shit about doin' crimes and he has to rely on Trevor and Michael to call all the shots. He's more of an Everyman than a Gary Stu.

All GTA protagonists are awful people because the games are about doing awful things

Trevor and Lamar my friends gush of "LOL HE SAID NIYGA!" and "He's just so random XD" but I cannot stand either of them. I loved Michael throughout the story and Franklin was a pretty good character who just wanted to be done with the thug shit and move on with his life.
