woooooooooooooooooooh
had a PS2 slim and turning it sideways or upside down sometimes helped with disk reading. why does that happen?
That help my secondhand PS2 too.
that must have been hard to detangle
thank you user, i've always wondered -why- that worked. I did not know you can reroute softlocks into working commands.
>game crashes on specific cutscene
>eject the disc
>put it back in
>cutscene skipped but the game is now fine
>dick doesn't work
>take it out, blow myself

>everything in the 1st gen Pokemon games
I pity the dead who will never know the joys of having your entire game grind to a crash because female symbol decided to belt out her breathtaking music

>twewy intro cutscene crashes on flashcart because it's streaming too much data too quickly

I remember when flashcart quality was measured by how well the castlevania intro player, good times

You'd think teachers would appreciate me taking away wikipedia and forcing students to read books but no.

Yeah I had to do that for FF9 when I was a kid, the first disc was in terrible condition so the cut-scenes would always fuck up but opening and closing it worked a charm
>disk be scratched and can't be read by console
>spray with pic related and rub in

I miss those days. Now I'm pretty much the only one who plays vidya and the only game I play online is Overwatch. I'm trash at it as well.

I put books on top of my ps2 slim so it would detect the lid was closed and allow the laser head to come out and read the disc. Could be the same thing?
