The Duke could stand to commission some new Dragon's Dogma threads

bump

There is nothing to say for me about this game anymore.

Post your arisen

>go into BBI at level 36
>come out at level 81 destroying the fuck out of everything the maingame has to offer
>lose will to play
anyone else did this?

I've mastered all vocations and I'm lv 25, what do I settle with for the last 175 levels? I want good melee with good defense

How's Dragons dogma online? I kinda wanna try it out

Use the exp table mod, I now need over 500k exp to get to lv 26

>I've mastered all vocations and I'm lv 25
How and why.
>I want good melee with good defense
Warrior is good in tanking damage, fighter and mystic knight good for blocking damage with a shield, assassin for parrying attacks.

How did you fare in BBI at that level? I plan on going around level 45 as a ranger. I'm not min maxing or anything

This is how I did it, Hard mode was giving me too much exp so I decided to mod the exp requirements to level up, I'm sure I'll need a million exp at lv 30.

>mod
haha
it wasn't as bad as i thought. death showed up and took all of my pawns so i used a lift stone out and resummoned them, never saw him again. i went in as a strider. enemies that feed off corpses will rape you, but you level up and get kick ass loot so you eventually get to BTFO of anything that gets in your way.
i should mention it was my first ever playthrough as well

What's wrong with modding?
I thought you were able to mod on consoles too?

It got updated today right?

Yesterday, not a soul knows what was updated.

i can mod on PS4?

Last time a mystery patch happened it was just language support. Probably another Chinese or whatever localization patch.

Don't know, man, modding is a easy as editing some xml files in dragon's dogma, I thought you were able to mod your games on PS4 by now.

?

Hello

Did they really do that?

I'm a brainlet when it comes to computers so i wouldn't know

>Harpy picks you up
>Drops you
>"I have you!"
>Pawn catches you

If you get the game on PC, I'll share the mod with you so you only have to paste it over your existing files.

>Inflection fixed

IT ONLY TOOK THEM A DECADE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK

best girl

Dogma and Souls games destroyed my perception of melee and, to a point, magic classes in other games. Tried playing Diablo 3 and Path of Exile and just couldn't bare the animations and conditional mechanics.

>Inflection fixed
Holy fucking shit.

i appreciate the gesture but I'm not gonna buy a game twice

Post ought!

>tfw level 49 trying to clear post grigori ever fall
only i know this suffering
whats good xp for that level post grigori?

Good timing. I have some free time now, and I'd like a good fantasy game. How easy is this game to get into? How long is it? Good depth to it? Is the story any good? Is Dragon's Dogma a cinematic type game or more hands off?

Were edited saved ever released on ps4? Been seeing a lot of samefaced pawns with ridiculous gear in the rift lately.

it’s like the dragon quest of action rpgs
without the shitty turn based combat
it’s really boring in the beginning but as you get more swole and get to like level 30 plus it picks up a lot cause you get cool abilities
ive beaten the game like 8 times

You can do fuckall after a certain early escort mission, you have all the time of the world after that, it's also very easy to get into since the combat is fleshed out.

wait are you asking where to get more xp in the post game yeah? There's a drake in the Estad Plains just outside of Gran Soren. If you use a Veterans Periphat or the Bezel Crown you can get tons from him. Otherwise BBI

I got this for ps4 when it came out, but didn't have time to play it suddenly.

I'm a big fan of rpg's, dragon age, dark souls, witcher ect ect

Is this one worth playing through as well? I wanna play through it but I don't want to waste my time either

At that point, skill+gear+consumables > level. Farm the world, there are more tougher monsters everywhere. The obligatory first fight in Everfall, mini-gazer is pretty easy.

any tips or hints for starting a new game? haven't played in a while, pref a warrior type class

play something you havent before, try bowmage or sorc and summon some hella tornados

>How easy is this game to get into?
Easy to get into
>How long is it?
The main story is kind of short but with the DLC and post game it's over 100 hours
>Good depth to it?
Yeah even though it seems very basic at first
>Is it cinematic
It's not cutscene heavy if that's what you're asking. It can be very cinematic at times when fighting larger enemies like griffins. Also the magic in this game is ridiculous

Was a proper fast travel mod ever made? I’m on my forst playthrough and the constant walking between quests is really wearing me down. I have a few portable portcrystals, but I’ve heard that you can’t buy them untill new game plus. Is there any solution, or is the infinite sprint mod the only answer?

I played sorc beforehand, which is why I wanna play warrior this time

Wait till NG+

Solo hardmode. It's almost a different game, especially if you try to avoid the overpowered classes.

the duke is worthless.
no elf village

o, do the escort quest for gryphic victory and make everything till grigori fucking die really hard

World map is small af. Explore and find the portcrystals.

Got the game on PS3, the Dark Arisen version. There is a way to fix the framerate or something?

Is really bad and keeps dropping when I roam around the map. I would like to play on PC but mine is a potato that can't even run minecraft properly.

>hardmode.
We have explaining it tons of time yet newfags still recommend shit like that. Once, hardmode is a fucking joke. It's harder at the very beginning and then it becomes easier than Normal mode because of the tons of extra exp and money, it can even completely ruin BBI. The extra resistance only makes the gameplay of the red classes poorer, and nobody ever complained about the stamina consumption of normal mode.
If you want to make the game harder there is a mod that can make the levelling slower, if you want to recommend something recommend that, but playing on normal mode is basically mandatory. Especially for new people since "hard" mode is nothing more is really nothing more than a badly made extra.

I was actually bothered by how forgettable this game was. I waited for a while to try it out, but when I did end up getting it I couldn't get over how bland it was. The designs were nothing special, the plot is non-existent, the NPCs felt like pamphlets, and the pawns refused to even acknowledge each other. The gameplay was fine but I'm confident in saying it is the least immersive RPG I've ever played.

>that quest bug is finally fixed
Holy shit I'll load open my game again just to get that ring finally.

2bh I only really have fun with this starting with grigori and past that point

why not fix the retarded beloved system to lock the person you gift arisens bond to as your beloved? muh immersion is ruined when grigori grabs the dukes wife but after shanking the seneschal it's jewtits who meets you at the beach

>do piss for damage against G57 Ur on PS4
>still receive Dwells-In-Light as a 'you tried' reward

I want to fuck a she-goat

its another 'shit games Sup Forums tricked you into buying' episode

The romance system being completely fucked is the source of too many awesome stories.

what are really good daggers to have in the early game

It's another 'anonymous poster has shit for brains' post.

It's depressing to see so many pawns using the tippy-top BBI armour, just because it's so fuckin' ugly.

Flame daggers. Fire effect is fucking great at amplifying damage.

please apologize.

Mercedes awakened my delicious brown fetish

I'm sorry that you've got bad taste.

It's a pretty good fetish

Shit taste.

y-you too.

I just started replaying this the other day.
First time playing bow classes and a small character.

I really want to see a sequel to this game with just more content, more classes and areas.

I did 10-100 as sorcerer on my current Arisen and I'm doing 101-200 as Mystic Knight.
As long as I use pre-enchanted weaponry I shouldn't lose much potential damage output.

>min maxing

do what you will but that just ruins the game for me.

I need your help, bros. I had to change the steam folder location since the default folder supposedly wasn't a good place to install Morrowind, so I uninstalled the games and moved the rest of the steam software on the new folder. Then I just reinstalled Dragon's Dogma believing that steam cloud would have automatically loaded my safe but the game is acting like there is no save at all.
Is there any way to fix that and get my save file back? Did I misinterpreted how steam cloud is supposed to work? Am I fucked?

Nigga, stop caring about that, I finished the game at level 60.

I just wanted lots of extra health on top of what sorcerer gave, plus heavy armour.

>going into BBI before post-game
Why would you do this, you know what happens when you clear all the sidequests before going to the final boss in an RPG

would have automatically loaded my save*

Just rebough this game on Ps4. Haven't played since PS3 days.
Can someone post some good female face sliders?
Also, should i go mystic archer or magic knight

Help!

>his pawn is a Guardian

you done fucked up arisan.

guess you dont really care about the game if you dont have anything to say about it anymore....

magic knight if you like perfect blocking shit, mystic archer if you like destroying everything in closed areas and putting yourself on fire.

Fun at range and self-immolation.

why would i set myself on fire?

Mystic archer is super easy mode, after leveling up a bit you can two-shot everything in sight.

Mystic Knight is my favourite class, not as powerful but it has tons of different option.

Because you fire damage everything you touch.

>Why would you do this
Because I hate the post game overworld

Because you can grab things and set them on fire too.

Dark Vanilla masterrace

What features would you want most out of a Dragons Dogma sequel?

Nice-o bait desu~

I would absolutely love a sequel but I already know deep inside it will be shit because Capcom has a track record recently of turning everything they touch into shit.

Actual worldbuilding, immersive characters, good quests, mounts, and a better fast travel system

>better fast travel system
The hell?

Why would that ruin your immersion? It simply means that your Arisen has both jewtits and the princess lusting after her. Somewhat like a harem end.

this
and no romance bullshit where i end up with the blacksmith because i talked too many times with him to sell and buy shit.

>and no romance bullshit where i end up with the blacksmith because i talked too many times with him to sell and buy shit
But Grigori knows what's best for you!

more varied geography
More cities but not retarded Skyrim amounts, like 3 or 4 cities and the map being huge enough that travelling from one to the other is an actual adventure.
Simultaneous more convenient and less available warping, It's too easy lategame to drop warpstones on all the repeating quest hotspots and remove all the challenge of traversing the terrain
more weapon types, spear/halberds, hatchets, crossbows, etc.
Make dual wielded knives be held correctly, but that's a complaint I have for every fantasy game ever

...

>More cities but not retarded Skyrim amounts, like 3 or 4 cities
I'd be happy with just one more city besides Gran Soren tbqh

one of the best fantasy rpgs of thr modern era. imagine a good DnD video game.
