Hmm okay. I've never played any RTS or JRPG games

Pokémon Snap.
Thrill Kill.

ARPG

For RTS, either Age of Empires 2, or Stronghold. Preferably both.

Dank Souls

Thrill Kill.

never had tried hack n slash or TBS

horror puzzle game

Rhythm games

stealth games

Thrill Kill.
Thrill Kill.

Thrill Kill.

Thrill Kill.

MOBA

Thrill Kill.

What's your fucking problem

Thrill Kill.

Thrill Kill's dope as fuck. Please understand.

...

>HNS
Ninja Gaiden Black
>TBS
Advance Wars
what
Rock Band
Splinter Cell: Blacklist/Chaos Theory
There has literally never been a good MOBA. Fuck MMO lookin ass bullshit

Sports game.

Thrill kill

Run n gun

Super Mario Strikers is apparently fucking god-tier but I never got to play it. I can't in good faith recommend an actual official/licensed/whatever sports game because they are all such garbage.

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones was my introduction to TBS and boyyy it was a great ride. Also it took place before the big boom of FE waifu faggotry which is nice.

Chrono Trigger for the JRPG.

And preemptively, if anybody asks about a third person shooter, give Vanquish a go. Really solid game. A ton of fun and pretty nice to look at with some interesting mechanics. Just ignore the shoehorned "romance" in the story.

Mario Strikers.
Metal slug is eternally good.

I want to try an adventure game, looking at Obduction right now anyone played it?

I swear I didn't look at this post when I said mario strikers, it's actually good.

For jrpg just play xenogears and the forget about jrpgs because none will ever top it.

First Person Shooter

I second Metal Slug

Never played a Roguelike game before

Don't play any you're doing yourself a favor

return to castle wolfenstein

irisu syndrome?

if i haven't played a genre before it is likely because i have no interest in playing games in that genre. what a stupid premise for a thread.

the other user is mostly right, but there are a few good FPS games. Apparently GTAV is good in first person mode. Far Cry 3 and 4 are good gameplay-wise but the stories feel a little lacking here and there. Also, they aren't multiplayer-inclined like CoD. Borderlands 1 and 2 are good if you want a co-op experience, but can be fun solo. But if you play Borderlands 2, don't pick Axton for a solo run. Absolute least fun run I've had in that game.

Drakengard 3

lol for a competitive game with a low barrier of entry
Dota for a competitive game with a very high barrier of entry
Hots if you don't give a shit about being competitive and just want to have fun

>never had tried hack n slash
Start from the beginning with the very first Devil May Cry. Ninja Gaiden is great as well, will tear your asshole up though.

Quake 1, FEAR

Thief

I guess i'll ask for some Rhythm games and see where that goes. No overly weeby shit though please.

If you liked videogames you'd try some different ones

Isometric crpg

Rocket League

doom
start with the new one since you're not used to fps
then 1 and 2
then you're done.

Dawn of War: Soulstorm and Age of Mythology for RTS.
Civilization 5 or Total War Shogun 2
Project Diva Future Tone or any other Project Diva game (except the 3DS ones)
Dota 2
Metal Slug 1, 2, X or 3
>But I've played those!
Gunstar Heroes, CT Special Forces
Unreal Tournament, Turok 2 (get the GoG remaster, trust me), 007: Nightfire (NOT THE PC VERSION IT GOT GIMPED), Judge Dredd: Dredd vs Death, Doom 2016
retard

I would like to second this request >Have tried Fallout 1 and 2 plus the Shadowrun games
>Fucking hated them

racing games

I should have added: racing games that aren't your nintendo type like mario kart or f-zero

Baldur's Gate/Fallout 1

Third Person Shooter

Sim or arcadey?

Burnout 3
Need For Speed Most Wanted '05
Episode 1 Podracing
Flatout maybe

I really, REALLY love Enter the Gungeon. Its nice to just crank out some runs and shoot dudes in the face. It also is pretty funny with the puns and stuff, and feels really good, but it is lacking in depth in my opinion. Binding of Isaac is good and very in depth but not very fun in my opinion. Nuclear Throne is also pretty good. Then there are others like Ziggurat, which is a fast paced, First person rogue-like

Weebshit.

Forza Horizon 3

Vanquish
Earth Defense Force 4.1
Gears of War series

Grand Strategy Game

CRPG's

schmups unless undertale counts

Not isometric but rpg nonetheless: either Dragone age Origins or Vampire The Masquarade Bloodlines

Touhou
Raiden

Ace Combat 4 or Zero
Victoria 2
