what went so wrong?

Do I need a NASA supercomputer to play this fucking shit?
>what went so wrong?
You cant kill your visitors.
No holocoaster allowed is not fun
These types of games are only fun for the first few days anyways. Once you've messed around with all the tools and mechanics they quickly become boring and feel more like a chore. Also, the fanbase would've been larger if it didn't have denuvo
Went back to Roller Coaster Tycoon. Seems less of a hassle
Its still incredible how creative some players are.
This what the fuck. What is with these devs being such pussies about killing guests?
I'm guessing depictions of deaths by horrific 'accidents' would have bumped up the age rating which the devs probably didn't wanted.
great sandbox for theme park nerds, bad game
It doesn't have to be horrific just do it like RCT1. Train explodes and pop up says X amount of people died
>Build an entire galaxy
>Forget to add a story
>Forget to add stuff to do
>Don't fix bugs for years
>Ridiculously overpriced cosmetic DLC that doesn't even work half the time
Worst developers
>Forget to add a story
In a fucking coaster builder game?
>Pretentious trailer music
he's on about Frontier's other game, Elite Dangerous.
The same will probably happen to Jurassic World Evolution (think its called that)
>Build an entire galaxy
>Forget to add a story
Wrong thread user
Same company
I never bought it. It was overpriced and had denuvo. Should have followed Skylines. People are still okay with getting dlc jewed with that game.
Why is this the most advanced and impressive park management game of all time, yet I play for 5 hours and then get bored? But then go back to RCT2, which I have played for hundreds of hours, and still feel like I'm playing for the first time? What went wrong?
DUDE CUSTOMIZATION LMAO
DUDE WE'RE NOT GONNA MAKE ANYTHING HERES A BUNCH OF TOOLS THOUGH! MAKE YOUR OWN SHIT BRO!
>have to spend 10 minutes autisticly adding decorations to every fucking hot dog stand I plop down so its not just a square
yeah this sure is fun
I like it but it just doesn't feel like a game. Those first couple hours where you're seeing everything for the first time are amazing though. Also love the music.
>see people bitching about dlc policy
>google shit
>see pic related
Srsly I thought its some paradox tier jewing. Guess these shits work with steamapi too. If not I've seen some pretty good steamworkshop items for free.
I can see why people dislike it tho. You need incredible amounts of creativity to enjoy it, since its a crap manager game. However its pretty fucking cozy in sandbox.
>amusement park simulator let's you make this detailed rides
>gee I wonder why my fps count is tanking
the FPS tanks no matter what you do. you can build nothing but rides and it still hits 15FPS after you build 15 or so rides. not to mention when you enter editing mode for any tracked ride the game has a heart attack
Im planning to continue planet coaster, when my brand new 1080ti arrives
>1080ti
I have one, dont get your hopes up
They cared more about the age rating of a fucking digital game than adding the most fun feature of the original RCT games; death.
I loved the old tycoon games as a kid because it was fun to kill the guests. Couldn't they just add it as free DLC or some shit so the base game keeps its age rating?
>You need incredible amounts of creativity to enjoy it, since its a crap manager game.
This is the reason this Planet Coaster and Cities Skylines didn’t draw me in. The management aspects are really weak in comparison to RCT and SC4. Playing in what amounts to a glorified sandbox doesn’t interest me much.
