What am I looking at?

my eyes hurt looking at these extreme filters

I really do hope they done down on the fucking bloom.

I want this game so badly that it makes my tits hard just thinking about it.

Looks definitely more interesting than Bravely Default. But yeah the bloom is too much, it takes your attention away from the pixel art, which should be the star.

I didn't like how you could alter the encounter rate and monster difficulty all the time in Bravely Default. That to me is like the developers are saying "yeah we don't give a shit about balance and progression". I know Atlus wouldn't implement something like that.

60$ + tip

I appreciated being able to turn off encounters towards the end of bravely default, otherwise going to battle the same bosses for the hundredth time would have been even more annoying.

I've played the demo and liked it a lot. But what irks me is the incosistency of player/enemy stats. While player's guys have around couple hundred HP they dish out thousands and thousands at same-level enemies before they die. I just don't like it when game's mechanics work differently to PC and NPC actors.

Legitimately the only game of 2018 I'm looking forward to. It'll probably be worth $25 but I'd pay $60 for it

Ni no Kuni 2?

literal garbage

$40

Considering its eight games in one I'd say $480 is a fair price

In this case, it makes sense that the enemy units have magnitudes higher HP because you have access to the Break/Boost Mechanic and are expected to exploit it to win.

The only times the players and enemies have similar stats is when they both must obey and abuse the weapon mechanics of the game. Like in Pokemon and Fire Emblem.

I understand what you're saying user, I love it when both NPCs and PCs have close stats and adhere to a specific set of rules. This is one of the reasons why I'm so fond of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories' battle system, there's nothing more satisfying than seeing the enemy do their signature explosive most powerful move, only for you to cancel it out with a "HERE!" 0 card.

all the bloom the game has is so fucking unnecessary. not sure why they think its a good idea.

post em

Oh, this game looks good, let's read about it.
