how do you sit at your chair while playing on your PC bros
How do you sit at your chair while playing on your PC bros
Do periods longer than 6 hours exponentially increase? Is there a soft cap where I start hitting diminishing returns? How painful is the death?
>sitting causes death
>ignoring the possibility that people who are unhealthy already sit because they're not feeling well
So stand when you work?
after sitting at school/work I tend to just lay in bed and play on my laptop or switch
but either way i'm so unhealthy i will die young, probably better that way
>Sitting less than 3 hours a day
I'd rather die young than suffer like a little bitch.
This.
That shit is clearly ignoring cause-effect.
Also, my study shows that 100% of people that breathe air die.
Is air slowly killing us?
This is kind of horseshit. As long as you're getting a chunk of good intensity exercise every day or so sitting around all the time doesn't really matter. You might run the risk of like a DVT or something if your cardiovascular system is really shitty and you're literally not moving at all for long periods, but to claim "sitting" is the issue is dumb as fuck. It simplifies things way too much.
I lay on a couch with my pc connecte to the tv and navigate it with my mouse. My left side feels numb for 2 days i think im about to get a heart attack
God I wish that were me.
This is a poorly constructed bait. Stop replying to it.
>even if you exercise
Makes me laugh every time. I bet they consider just walking for 10 minutes every other day as exercising.
What if I'm laying on my bed all the time? I only play handled and browse 4chin on my phone
I can believe this except for the "even if you exercise" shit.
>we are born immortal, but breathing air is slowly poisoning us over a period of ~80 years
sit? I game standing up, sometimes whilst on my treadmill, get on my level cucks
...
that's how I sit most of the time actually
100% of people who consume water will die
>out DNA is trying to kill us within 125 years, what went so wrong?
I inject air into my veins just to make sure that I don't get a blood clot and push through the ones that are starting to form. Can sit all I want with no issue!
Yet again it's an infographic made by someone who thinks that correlation = causation.
In other words, a moron.
Even crossing your legs elevates your blood pressure. You think this doesn't? You don't want to die, do you user?
>egg whites are good
>no they're bad
>no they're good
>nope bad again
>back to being good
Elevating my blood pressure is literally how I engorge my penis, and that's much more important to me than my health.
too late, got em
what the fuck im drinking water right now
thank god I only drink Soylent
Say your prayers, loser. You're gonna die!!
don't read this:
soylent contains water
FUCK
It was yolks people were arguing about, but the average person is nutritionally retarded and thinks HDL is bad anyway
My studies also conclude that 100% of people who breath oxygen eventually die. Will YOU die by breathing oxygen? It's more likely than you think. Click HERE to run a full body oxygen scan!
Oh fuck being scanned increases your chance of dying by 450%!
Are you implying that being active is suffering? That's incredible levels of manchild delusion.
its the ultimate gambit
>likelier
What language is that?
>risk of death
Death from what though? Just death generally?
Standing up while playing video games burns more calories cause it takes energy to stand and is more healthy for you.
it increases the chances that you'll play Grim Fandango.
100% of video games are for faggots
>Be fit, healthy young man.
>Get a pilonidal sinus at 23 years old.
>Have lived with it since. Surgery not preferential.
I'm just unlucky, bros.
>be healthy for 30 years
>get a nasty cold a couple years ago
>took some daily vitamins to help keep my immune system topped off
>kidneys started making stones because of the extra calcium and they haven't stopped since
I'll start sitting more often, thanks for the tip
that's even worse than what I have m8, I'm sorry.
desu I probably was sitting too much, often 12-16 hours a day since I was working from home. But it still has me shake my head from time to time saying "why fucking me?"
Kidney stones and pilonidal stuff usually affects obese people. That's why I hate this shit.
>Surgery not preferential
Why not? Lack of insurance? I had one as well and its was fucking annoying. Treating the wound after the surgery hurt like hell but I'm happy its gone.
>20
>get up one day and feel a slight twinge in my back
>21, one and a half years later
>on three types of painkiller for crippling sciatica in the whole of my left leg
Bulging discs are not fun and I never expected anything like this in my life. Couldn't imagine having a full-blown herniated disc. Always sit with good posture.
Sorry to hear that user, hope it will get better some day.
I've seen 3 surgical consults and they've all said quite different things. I'm still shopping around.
My dad had one of those in this 30s. His doctors referred to it as hairy butt disease. He had surgery for it. I helped him keep it clean. My old man and I aren't close, but when your family needs help they need help.
>15 year old athletic kid drops dead from pulmonary embolism
>Yet there are 35 year old 600lb people who can't leave bed still breathing
There is no fucking rhyme or reason, people just die.
>Baby born, no need for air
>Doctor slaps baby
>Baby cries, inadvertently taking its first breath, and first step towards death.
We've been had since day one
I had my first kidney stone when I was 17, didn't know what it was and thought I was dying. most pain I've felt in my entire life, worst part is it was the day after Christmas and the hospital was full, so I had to watch a bunch of kids with colds walk in to see the doctor for 3 hours.
morphine was good tho
This. Any kind of position held for too long without much movement is a bad idea.
Standing desks is just as dumb as a regular desk if you're at it for prolonged periods of time. Taking breaks or alternating between sitting and standing is the most important part.
I lie down on my bed.
Is that better or worse than sitting?
THIS JUST IN
EVERYBODY WHO POSTS ON Sup Forums HAS MOTHERS
[spolier]they will die in their sleep unless you reply to this post[/spoiler]
When I was younger I naively thought a kidney stone wouldn't be a big deal because all you gotta do is piss it out. Whoo boy little did I know that once it's in your urethra is fucking easy street compared to when it's clocking your ureter and making your kidney blow up like a piss balloon.
I'll try for 12 or more.
I had the same shit happen to me user, felt a small pain in my lower back and a month later couldn't walk. Took no pain meds just went to a chiropractor, I'm good now. Shit was super painful though, the pain went all the way down my leg.
a lot of genetic shit plays into kidney stones too.
your dad get them?
>work physical job
>climb ladders and carry shit all day
>still gonna die early cause lolfat
Fuck it Imma play video games.
>know a guy in his early 20s who had kidney stones like 3 times already, pretty bad ones apparently
>make up a rumor that he had a massive, record shaking one
>say that the stone was really sharp and sliced his dick up like a hot-dog bun
People call him hot dog dick or hot-dog bun now
You'll live just fine sitting all day as long as you walk/bike/whatever 30 min a day. Don't even need to work out.
