Putting all personal opinions aside, is it the game of the decade?

No. Year?
Maybe
Decade?
Certainly not.

>Certainly not.
What is then?

I have a very hard time believing there's been a more important release

Just got killed by someone who ran out of a building, disappeared when I aimed at them, and then reappeared back inside the building again.

This game has netcode from 2003.

It's not even game of the week.

Not even game of the year. Barely edges Fortnite.

Only time will tell what it's waves are.
But to be frank Minecraft was more important than this.

It's a broken mess in a genre that's popular for now that got lucky. It reminds me of DayZ a lot, time will tell if it goes the same way.

depends on what you look for
most popular? most innovative? Highest ratings?

i hope not, because it's terrible

Although the decade isn't up, yeah it basically depending on whether minecraft is classed as coming out in 2009 or 2011. Even then pubg is likely going to be more important than minecraft.

All the contrarians will say it's shit but when asked to name something else will either be unable to or name a fotm meme game everyone forgot

...

It's between pubg and minecraft that's for sure. I'd probably give it to minecraft but it really is close.

In my personal opinion, [Any Functional And Complete Game] is better and more important than PUBG.
I might be biased because I prefer my games to be in a playable state before I consider them for any accolade, but hey, we're all a little different.

Man to this day l feel like MInecraft was hijacked from me by kids and fags

>People made fun of me for playing it, a few years later those same people played it on their phones.

Personally I think Skyrim was game of the year

but no one mentioned it

Objectively speaking, It's a steaming pile of dogshit.

>they went back on what they said earlier this year and won't do full modding support, only let custom matches being highly customizable
Game is now dead when a good competitor is out. The only thing that would save PUBG from getting overshadowed is modding support, something no big publisher would do since it takes away potential profits.

>Claim PUBG is dead again

Imagine being as BTFO as this guy

>Multiplayer
Definitely not.

As everyone else did it literally just depends on whether Minecraft was released in 09 or 11. If 09 pubg is gotd, if 11 Minecraft is
