DUDE WHAT IF EVERY FUCKING ENEMY HAD PARTY-WIDE ATTACKS THAT ALSO INFLICT AILMENTS LMAO
DUDE WHAT IF EVERY FUCKING ENEMY HAD PARTY-WIDE ATTACKS THAT ALSO INFLICT AILMENTS LMAO
literally git gud
its EO dude what the fuck do you expect, encounters are supposed to be hard enough to wear you down and force you back to town while you slowly map out each floor, this is the core gameplay loop
>just bind bro
>binds never land
>if they do they wear off after a couple turns
>needing more than one turn
Are there any rpgs where status ailments Vs enemies aren't dogshit?
This one, OP is a scrub
EO
Sounds like you need to get good.
Wizardry. Dungeon crawlers in general actually, including EO.
Literally Etrian Odyssey. You can inflict ailments vs bosses even, just watch for the Luck stay. Your ailments won't hit if your Luck is ass.. SMT Strange Joutney or mainline SMT overall.
DUDE WHAT IF WE MADE THE ROVER SO FUCKING STRONG THAT EVERY OTHER PARTY MEMBER IS POINTLESS
This one
It's entirely possible to stunlock bosses with ailments
Dude what if this fucking game was ever actually in stock in the UK
You mean pugilist?
DUDE WHAT IF YOU GIT FUCKING GUD LMAO
Gonna buy this game tomorrow with money from Christmas. My projected classes are
>Dragoon
>Masurao
>Botanist
>Necromancer
What's a good 5th class to round out the team? I was thinking of a Fencer or a Harbringer.
How far in are you? Third stratum was the only time I really had problems with normal enemies.
Dont combine dragoon and Necromancer, they both use a gimmic that overlaps with eachothers and reduces their effectiveness.
>dragoon AND botanist
Might as well add a pugilis
Don't listen to him, just avoid bunker skills on dragoon
Or scrap your dragoon, it's up to you
SMT.
>Scrapping the buster cannon class
Dragoon exists to have line guards sometimes, but buster cannon all the time. That move is bonkers.
Honestly, I'd say ditch the masurao and go full in on a status party, necro and bot are great with it, and front mortar is amazing combined with a bot's ele resist down debuff.
Implying youd add a dragoon to your team to deal damage.
got EOV two weeks ago, I've never played an EO game before
about 9 hours into it and enjoying it. was tough at first getting my ass handed to me by every battle on 1F but now have just reached 4F (still got some stuff to do on the preceding floors) and i killed all three toxipedes just now
so yeh cool mang i dig it i dig it
SaGa
That's not a picture of EO3.
I have no memory of this
Of course not, that's why you still like it. EO3 is full of party-wide bullshit that you have to have extremely specific skills (that are maxed out) and accessories/armor pieces to deal with. If you don't then too bad, fuck you.
I wanted to replay it on NG+ but the fact that you're forced to keep everything even quest progress put me off, maybe I'll just replay from scratch one day
>untold 3 never ever confirmed
DUDE WHAT IF A GAME HAD MECHANICS AND THEN GAVE YOU COUNTERS TO THEM
Untold's encounters are way more bullshit
*blindsides you*
FF12. Theres some bulkier enemies, and in IZJS the debuffs work on bosses. Admittedly that means you can trivialize the game like in FF Tactics but its just an option.
>Get dual wield Knight in FFT
>First round Magic Break a boss that uses magic twice
>Fight is pretty much over for it if they connect
