It’s a litte over a year old, but I only just now played it. Anyone here that liked it?

Me i loved it.
I loved it. I don't think any other game has portrayed a connection between two characters as well as TLG.
Did they fix the camera and controls?
No. You just have to use your brain, get used to it and then predict how it might be clunky and you will get by it without crying like a polygon reporter.
Trico lived, right? Right?
Yes and no
Also I really loved and don’t regret it being like the only reason I bought a PS4
...
soy intake HIGH
I don't have to put up with shit and headaxhes. That's not an excuse to keep playing
If you can mitigate the headaches why wouldn't you? It is nothing compared to older games and their cameras. And besides it is still a small part of the game in general. You aren't constantly fighting the camera just sometimes it can feel like the camera gets trapped and you are struggling to gain back control for 2 seconds.
Been waiting to play until I got a Pro, I'll play it early next year.
Fuck off retard, this game was great and if you couldn't manage to control Trico efficiently then you were a soyboy cuck.
It's the kind of games you only replay every 5-10 years because the moments lose their suprise once you've saw them.
No replayability at all but great game, the controles play into the experience and i'm not a faggot for saying that.
The platforming is so ball wrenching and vertigenous because of how slippery the character feels, i felt no more inconvenience once i managed to work the system only holy shit jumps.
Pretty okay. I thought it was the weakest out of Shadow of the Colossus, ICO, and itself but was still fun while it lasted.
Yes, soybeans are high in protein and low in fat, I try to eat tofu with vegetables after I finish a day of logging.
no bloodborne?
I liked it, but I wish it had more boss fights, I was expecting a mix of ICO and SotC and got more ICO with SotC mechanics thrown in but no bosses, still a good experience if you like Team Ico's games.
Fuck that part were you need to go through a pitch black tunnel using Trico's eyes as the light source though.
Loved it, I had a cat, a dog, and a cockatiel growing up and I saw all three of them in Trico, the game's concept of difficulty is interesting too; it depends on how well you can understand Trico's cues and thus avoid frustration when directing him. Combat has hidden depths as well, with being able to cling to enemies and pull off their heads for example. DL'd the VR demo too but I'm saving that as an appetizer for when I wanna replay TLG.
Make sure to check your Trico's coats for spears regularly and clean off any blood on their feathers anons! They will appreciate it and also feed them lots of barrels!
You didn't play it, it didn't come out yet. Your all just living a shitty dream.
I have a love/hate relationship with it. Performance is really bad on a launch PS4 and the controls suck but I love the setting, music, and general aesthetics. It's a shame it didn't turn out better but I'm still glad it was finally released after all these years.
I really enjoyed it and for me it's charm outweighed its flaws. It reminded me of the PS2 days when big budget games had more variety and could be more experimental and different. Sadly from the reaction it got I don't know if kids today have the patience for these sort of games.
I did get rid of the spears, you need to clean the blood? I didn't know there was a prompt for that.
So what the fuck was the story?
What was the fucking tower and where did it come from?
It was really good, but there were a few things holding it back.
There were some parts where the only solution was to get on Trico and have him carry you someplace. Whenever you had to backtrack it would be really unclear, too. Like at the very end when Trico was getting fucked up, I spent a good half hour trying to zap those fuckers with Trico's severed tail. How was I supposed to know I needed to backtrack?
Pet the bloody spots and that cleans off the blood, pretty sure it raises Trico's affinity, but it might just be a /technology/
It was amazing. Framerate was ok on my ps4pro - wonder what it will look like if they released an HD master years down the line
TEN
FUCKING
YEARS
At least Sony rescues its vaporware.
Worth it
Wouldn't hold my breath because the graphics fidelity is already pretty high so maybe higher res?
Also Ico never got the PS4 remaster so why would this.
Not sure if anyone else has already said or thought this but I firmly believe that SoTC PS4 only got made because TLG burned a lot of people.
IT TOOK THEM SEVEN YEARS TO MAKE THIS GAME.
I've never played a souls game outside of a little bit of 3 at a friends house. I've never had much interest but maybe I'll try it some day.
the good stuff is really good, but the bad stuff is really bad
Honestly really close how close it stayed to the original trailer.
i really enjoyed my time with it, but it's hard to get myself to play it again. i had way too many feels during it, though at least the ending is one big, giant amazing fucking payoff and seriously worth witnessing for yourself.
>went through development hell
>came out unscathered
How does Ueda do it? Is he a wizard?
better framerate would be nice
> the game's concept of difficulty is interesting too; it depends on how well you can understand Trico's cues and thus avoid frustration when directing him
This. I’ve had many pets and I had no idea what people were talking about when they said Trico was being too unresponsive or uncooperative. Seeing as how other people who had good bonds with animals were less likely to have trouble with the game, I’d say they did a damn good job with Trico
