I like Dead Money

Get off my board.

>i h8s da dad muny coz i no hav muh pewpews and smashsmash and haf 2 scavung

I dislike the expansion. I disliked it when I played it and have disliked it ever since. Only somewhat recently have I seen other people dislike it as well, it was almost universally praised on the board back when.

kys casual faggot

Dead Money is worse than the rest of New Vegas, which is saying something

Its the only decent NV DLC, HH has only one redeeming feature, LR is terrible, OWB tries too hard to be funny and fails

at first I hated that i didn't have my shit, but then the scavenging and survival was really enjoyable.

I think honest hearts has a good story, but the gameplay doesn’t make it nearly as enjoyable as dead money, agree with your other points

best new vegas dlc
>story
>location
>op vending machine
>2 second best player house (bunker)
and yes, all new vegas dlc great

Lost interest after fallout 3 desu senpai. I played NV a few times but it felt like running around a big empty plain old boring desert looking for something to see, do, or shoot at.

3 at least had towns, settlements, cities, etc. the environment was more rich. 4 got back into that but the story and dialogue was for shit and the whole settlement bs was utter crap and annoying to even bother with. It was like playing some post apocalyptic sims game. Real cute Todd

A single mother is one of the mods, believe it or not. Her name is BEAM and she was the one behind the neofag fiasco on Sup Forums.

i like dead money like pulling a hangnail.

im about to play dead money on survival.

i liked it alright but i didn't understand the hype for, or around why it was so shit.

I played a punch character so the ghost people were kinda easy to kill. i would just vats their leg off and they'd die instantly. bloody mess also makes it a complete joke.

DM > HH > OWB > LR

I like the environment in Lonesome Road an oddly high amount, despite how nauseating linear I would normally find it. The whole Divide is strangely comforting.

But HH is the only good DLC. It's literally the only one that isn't filled to the brim with hostiles. That's what makes it more Fallout than any of the rest.

Dead money is basically the Sup Forums equivalent of skub, anti-skub.
Also skub is best. All you anti-skub fuckers get off my board.

>im about to play dead money on survival.
sometimes i make a new character and go straight to dead money at level 1

Graham is cool and all, but the entire DLC is like 1 hour long

it's also the only dlc that has rain in the vanilla base game. kino

I dont like New Vegas alltogether.
Fallout 3 is the only good Fallout there is.

What if I neither liked nor disliked Dead Money?

It was okay but it had a lot of flaws.

And if they followed the formula of the other DLC's, it'd have deathclaws behind every corner to make it last 2 hours.

KINO

nice bait

well it makes you go and fist a yao gui den, does that count?

I wonder how many people who hate Dead Money enter expansion packs with all their best gear and items.

u avin a giggle m8? u avin a laff?
skub is rite proper shite

Who the fuck wouldn't enter with their best gear?

>tfw i didnt even know dead money takes away your gear because i leave all my shit at the lucky 38 beforehand

I always go in naked with no weapons in every dlc. It's fun to grab armor and weapons as I go.

Dead money was not fun to play at all. You do nothing besides kill scavengers and run through poison clouds. My sneak was 95 and and I still got detected by scavengers all the time. I ended up running through the DLC avoiding scavengers and picking up chips to trade for some stimpacks

Dead Money is good, I like it.

Who the fuck would want to go through new enemies, items and gear with the same old overpowered stuff they've been using?

i honestly try to do the dlc two ways each time.

1st time, practically naked. lowest level possible, usually level 1 or 2. Im here for pure roleplay reasons.

2nd time, fully kitted up and over-leveled. Im here to fuck.

more like ho how many people cried when their "best" gar was pussy ass shit compared to the holorifle. seriously that god damn gun makes the dlc a cakewalk especially after you get the upgrades.

I really liked it. I just wish Christine wasn't a lesbian.

OWB > DM >>> LR >>> HH

So you'd just leave your armor and weapons and go blindly to a new place in the nude? You have no idea what you'll encounter so you'd just go without protection or weapons at all? What if there aren't any guns or armor to gain without killing a dangerous hostile npc?

Are you retarded or something?

...

Isn't Christine Veronica's ex GF?

Yeah she is.

The plot and characters are neat, but every change it makes to the gameplay sucks.
>DLC puts a survival-horror twist on the game, discouraging combat in favor of stealth
>except you can't sneak past the ghost people consistently because their perception is bugged
>you can't run from fights either, because if a ghost person spots you then you have to fight it to protect your dumb NPC companions who will instantly charge into battle
>mfw people say "you just don't like Dead Money because it takes your gear", but it completely failed to do any of the things that would've warranted taking my gear and I still always wind up killing everything anyway so what's the fucking point?
>the few sections where speakers are even a threat practically demand trial and error savescumming, where you have no idea how many speakers you're in range of or which ones can be shut down
>the final dilemma with the gold doesn't even make sense, it's held up by Elijah inexplicably being invincible so that you can't kill him until he's locked you in the vault
The automatic rifle is a lot of fun at least, and I like the whole dismemberment gimmick with the ghost people.

So thats why she had such a hardon for hunting down Elijah, thx user.

Why do people pretend lonesome road is bad?

Because it's literally nothing but railroading and tedious fighting.

>walking in a narrow corridor >enjoying fallout 3 combat while listening to shitty ramblings
why do you pretend its not?

I fucking love dead money

I loved it but it was only fun the first two times.

BEAR BULL BEAR BULL HISTORY FLAG BEAR BULL

ED-E was the only good part

All correct, though I never really considered using the bunker as a house.
My favorite armor, and the guns were pretty fuckin' rad too.

DM>LR>HH>>>OWB

Best DLC in NV by far. Lonesome Road was such a letdown. HH is empty. OWB tries too hard to be quirky.
