Well, Sup Forums?
Easiest Souls game
haven't played demon's souls but ds1 for me is easiest
Super Metroid
they're all shit
which ever you played last
3
DS1
II
shitiest and easiest
Vanilla DS2 by far
>Poison Arrow takes two or three hits to kick in and deal a lot of damage.
>Lighting Bolts were abundant early game/had a lot of charges/had high base stats making it way too strong/low faith requirement.
>Back stabbing with a dagger was a death sentence to both enemies and invaders alike. >Katanas, specially Chaos Blade, could out put the damage of 90% of Ultra weapons in the game.
>Hexes literally one shoted everything aside from bosses.
SotfS version isn't that bad because they had to take a full year to balance their fucking game. Most of the hate that DS2 gets is from Vanilla players, we had to sit through all that shit.
Bloodborne or DaS3
Slashy Souls
That wasn't the question.
Dark Souls 2 was the easiest by far. Even DSP cakewalked through it.
3
Not counting any DLC then BB by a country mile.
In hindsight probably Demons Souls
Don't even remember any challenging bosses aside Flamelurker/False King.
BB is the hardest for me
All scholars did was just ddd a bunch of almost random enemies everywhere though. It did not improve much beyond adding gank squads everywhere,
BB gave you the speed and movesets to rip motherfuckers apart. It's fun but it also, in my opinion, sort of fucked with the balance of what the souls series is about. BB is probably the fastest I've ever finished a Souls game. What did you have difficulty with?
I played 3 first, then 2, then 1
I found 2 the easiest personally
I played 3 last and ds2 was easiest, besides smelter demon all bosses died in 5>= tries,
in 3 I struggled with abyss watchers and nameless king, didn't start dlc yet
I played ds3 with restrictions tho, I didn't use shield in both but in 3 I never had more than 1k hp because stacking vitality+ember would definitely make everything a cakewalk
>sort of fucked with the balance of what the souls series is about.
It's not a souls game and even spits on shields in item descriptions. Bloodborne I personally think is short for replay value kind of like dark souls 1 where after you beat the game the first time you can run through making new builds finding new gestures and extras than the last time you played. Although it does not really become amazing until the DLC is released.
Bloodborne at the state of it's release actually was harder due to software issues before the load time patch. It was a real mess upon release date.
Why does it matter if it's easy or hard?
PC marketing fucked up the fanbase with "prepare to die edition" .
A lot of people here may not even enjoy gothic elements
3 by far
I mean you could say the same of DaS1's release. Except that they casualized the game with patch 1.04
>casualized
I mean pre patch you could literally flip around in full giants armor at low levels
DS2 because poop tier bosses and you just expecting a gangrape squad at any moment.
