Game with morality system

>game with morality system
>in order to be "good" or even unlock the good ending you need to spare obviously evil people because muh killing is bad m'kay

I still don't understand why batman doesn't kill the joker. The joker always escapes and kills more people, thus killing joker would save countless innocents.

Because Batman is legitimately insane.

If we could definitively solve moral problems like this, we'd have fully sapient robots within years.

>shoot a unrepentant murderer
>-10 moralbucks
>shoot a rapist
>+10 moralbucks

Batman is just as fucked up as everyone else in Gotham. He has PTSD after watching his parents get killed. It doesn't really matter though, because the most interesting characters in Batman's universe are always the villains and Robin anyways. Just look at the newest movies, people aren't watching Batman for Batman they're watching for The Joker.

killing evil people lowers you to their level

>batman

They made a Batman vs Elmer Fudd comic this year and it's actually good.

It really depends on the context. Sometimes it's better to outright remove the problem, while other times it's better to lead by example and spare them especially when the people you lead are fucking chimps who would tear themselves apart if you weren't there to stop them.

>want to wipe out alien scum
>don't want to punch an innocent reporter in the face
>stuck in neutral morality with limited dialogue options

Because Batman has principles and his number one principle is not killing. Joker is baiting Batman to kill him. If Batman killed Joker, Joker would win.

>Not punching the reporter across all 3 games so she gets the fucking message

no, human life is more important than anything else, you can't kill anyone no matter how badly they wronged before

I like to make a silent non lethal takedown.

Batman Begins is a better movie than The Dark Knight.

Aaron Eckhart's portrayal of Harvey Dent/TwoFace was underrated

>Joker would win

I don't see how getting killed means, Joker wins. Batman could kill Joker and never kill anyone else.

What if he just killed the joker and told nobody. Just keep it a secret. Nobody would know.

Even if anyone else found out, who would give a shit. Like who would care if they found out I killed Kim Jong-Un?

Joker is insane and obsessed with corrupting the symbol of morality he sees in Bats.

The problem with moralfags is that they are christian, muslim or otherwise braindead fags.

They aren't WARRIORS OF JUSTICE!
Take up the spear and ram it right through the heart of evil!

>Batman could kill Joker and never kill anyone else.

Why stop at the joker, why not kill Dent and Zsazs and etc?

The difference is no-one gives a shit about you.
Batman is a famous incorruptible hero. It's like getting Gandhi to kill.

What if Gotham had the death penalty?
Would Batman still deliver criminals to the authorities knowing they would be killed thus making his actions directly related to their deaths?

But why would killing Joker be seen as a bad thing? America's Medal of Honor recipients earned their honor by killing several, sometimes dozens, of enemies on the field of battle and they're celebrated. Why would Batman killing one crazy psycho terrorist be bad?

>Enemy begs you to kill them in a prerecorded message that they made before they lost their mind
>Killing them gives you a more evil ending

It probably wouldn't because Gotham is an immoral cesspool.
Batman doesn't kill because he believes everyone can be redeemed. It's Batman's rule. Not Gotham's rule.

Batman doesn't do what Batman does for Batman. Batman does what Batman does because Batman is Batman.

>try to spare the villain so that he may face justice for his crimes
>fucking kills himself after calling you their only friend
Sometimes it's for the best

He would let them, because Batman has faith in the modern law system.

jaden smith, is that you?

I wonder why Koei made Ma Chao autistic about justice. He was only noted to be a good warrior and dressed in fashionable armor in the book IIRC.

Batman doesn't kill because he knows it like potato chips: you can't stop after just one.

And because he's Batman, if he started killing people, there'd be none a' ya left.

>muslims
>good

reddit please.
>muh justice
youre also underage

This is explained multiple times. Batman is constantly teetering on the edge of insanity and intentionally killing someone, even Joker, would push him over the edge. He's strong in a lot of ways, but he can't handle blood on his hands.

Trope subverted.

killing is the worst violation of the nap

>kill or spare moral choice comes after you've murdered hundreds of henchmen with no consequences

>One good deed does not undo many bad deeds.
>One bad deed does not undo many good deeds.

It's a shame games don't understand this.

>Jailing kidnappers lowers you to their level
>Taking money off of thieves lowers you to their level

Soyboy logic.

What game does this?

>be Hero
>Encounter villain
>Only option is to murder him on the spot or let him go
>No option to send him to prison for a million years
>No option to de-power him
>No option to force him to work for the Hero's Guild and get rehabilaited for society.
>No option to just seal him in a time prison for a while
>Its either wanton murder or reckless mercy

I guess that makes sense. A sane man doesn't dress up in a costume and run around town beating people up at night.
