Will he get the remake that he deserves, Sup Forums?

Please keep the word "remake" as far away from spyro as possible.

You didn't like Spyro's remakes? They were ebin.

...

He won't get one, so yes

I don't even know if I want a remake for Spyro anymore. It would likely be outsourced to some random developer and I doubt spyros art would transition well into HD unless the original devs were on the team

lol what the fuck

He won’t get one, so yes

Even if he did, it would be N-sane trilogy tier garbage, so I'm gonna say no.

>and I doubt spyros art would transition well into HD unless the original devs were on the team

Insomniac are still around.

2 > 3 > 1

>gets remade
>they use that monster face spyro instead

How made would you be Sup Forums?

Yeah and so is Naughty Dog. Doesn't mean the original devs are still around though.

Just had a spyro thread. It died fast though. As for a remake I'd like one, but I know they'd not get the art right and ruin it.

Just give it to the team that remastered Crash.

spyro looks as good on the ps1 as it ever will

the best looking games are made with the graphical limitations of thier time in mind, spyro and crash bandicoot are some of the best examples of this

Lol hell no

Oh man, the shit Naughty Dog did to get crash running well while looking as good as it did was fucking amazing.

why not

I thought the crash remake looked ugly and they messed up the physics. Those are the two MOST IMPORTANT things of the original spyro games, even more so than the original crash games

I thought the crash remake looked really good in most parts, and the increased framerate actually helped more than the pill-shaped player hitbox ruined things.

Spyro's physics on the other hand seem really hard to get wrong, it's so very simple, and there isn't any precise platforming in any of the games.
The aesthetic could totally be ruined though, the way most levels had a weird surreal sunset skybox really lent to the fantasy atmosphere, and that might not translate well into HD.

uhhh
