Just replayed WLK about a week ago. The Katamari games still hold a very special place in my heart. They're just so easy to pick up and play, and they're very uplifting with great music. Too hard to pick favorite songs but Lonely Rolling Star is always nice. I still foolishly hope we'll see another real entry in the series someday, but they keep releasing mobile games instead.
Hopefully Wattam will be interesting but it looks so barebones. Love the cute art though!

it bums me out that we'll probably never get another real katamari game again since namco seems intent on using the franchise purely for shitting out mobile games once a year, but at least those first two games are perfect and katamari forever is pretty good too.

Katamari Damacy is what I load up on a shitty week to cheer myself up and it's yet to fail. It might just be nostalgia and I'm okay with that, but this game makes me feel like a carefree kid again every single time I play it.
I hope some of you anons feel the same way with this game or any other.

Not that great. If you're dying for more Katamari go for it, but if that's your first game in the series play We Love Katamari, Katamari Forever, or the original Katamari Damacy instead. I like Beautiful Katamari a lot too but that's an unpopular opinion and there's a bunch of levels locked in on disc dlc. But yeah I'd recommend all of those before the Vita game.

When I first heard that song it was kinda the opposite. I was probably the highest point in my life, accomplishing some truly impressive things. However, when I do encounter those inevitable depressing times, I can always go back to this song to remind me that I'm worth something.

Katamari has been playable on PCSX2 for a while now. Runs pretty good aside from the occasional sound problem here or there.
