Instant refund. A forced lose against generic mooks is fucking stupid and no game should have it.

Agreed.
I uninstalled this when the second simultaneous enemy appeared and I looked at the controls and realized I need to press keys to 'select' an enemy that my block/hits will work against.
how does someone even come up with combat this bad
>quit the game
>"You're supposed to lose the fight :)"
In a way, you did lose the fight, isn't that depressing user? :)
>can't even lose properly
Sup Forums in a nutshell
It's only okay when MGR does it
rules of nature xD
To play devil's advocate, combat in hellblade goes from easy to braindead once you map the parry button to something not retarded.
The last fight of the entire game that you are supposed to be overwhelmed in and lose could conceivably go on forever until you literally stop playing and let yourself die.
This also isn't true. Swapping targets will only change who you swing at. Parrying will either block or stun literally any enemy from any direction, adding further to the braindead combat.
>The last fight of the entire game
>let yourself die
you're supposed to lose the final battel?
This fucked me up pretty good, glad i didn't bingeplay thru it in a single setting or i would've been tempted to grab the feelium then and there heh
>could conceivably go on forever until you literally stop playing and let yourself die.
which is quite literally the point
i dont get why this is controversial but kojima creating a gimmicky boss fight (muh old man) is totes OK
>Mfw still haven't watched the making of/dev diary shit et al yet
Also i find it pretty funny that the /literallywho/ chick playing senua has all her other shit still up such as the blog where she writes about her new dog or whatever
Seems she wasn't prepared for this at all and didn't even consult an agent managing the social media shit for her first before it got published
yes. other user was not exaggerating. i fought off the waves of forever-respawning enemies for probably 15 minutes before realizing i wasn't making any progress. i had to take my hands off the controls and let myself "lose" so i could be shown the end cinematic.
hellblade was hands down the worst game i played in 2017. probably worst game of the decade even. absolute garbage.
Are you comparing an unending fight against easy enemies that could go on permanently with no indication that you are supposed to enter the fail state of the game, something that you are supposed to avoid at all costs, to The End, a boss fight that you can win using normal gameplay?
>Are you comparing an unending fight against easy enemies that could go on permanently with no indication that you are supposed to enter the fail state of the game
Have you tried actually paying attention to the game instead of autistically muting everything and pretending it's street fighter?
Also yes, The End was horrendous garbage. Only a kojicuck would defend it.
Why would she? Like you said, she's literally nobody of note who got pulled in because she was available.
What the fuck did he mean by this?
Thematically it makes sense. In practice it's a mess.
The idea is you fight until you're overwhelmed but because the combat is so easy any player who stuck around to this point will just mow through waves and waves of enemies until they realize "oh the devs thought I would be dead now" or get bored and leave.
I'm the OP who quit the first forced loss and there was zero indication I should have let myself die. The voices specifically said to get the dudes into the right spot before attacking
Being forced to die is dumb but at least in that fightthe game throws enemies at you that you can't hurt to try and give you a hint.
Doesn't help when not dying is as easy as it is though.
Lots of games do have it though, so get over it.
Crisis Core did this and it was one of the best moments in video game history for me.
So they messed it up.
At least they should have make the enemies stronger and faster within time pass out, adding new movements or even making the enviroment change and adding new monsters in that part just for the sake of making it better
