Not with GMDX 9
milk is not a video game
Do you have a single fact to back that up?

You've got ten seconds to beat it before I add you to the list of NSF casualtiesYou've got ten seconds to beat it before I add you to the list of NSF casualtiesYou've got ten seconds to beat it before I add you to the list of NSF casualtiesYou've got ten seconds to beat it before I add you to the list of NSF casualtiesYou've got ten seconds to beat it before I add you to the list of NSF casualtiesYou've got ten seconds to beat it before I add you to the list of NSF casualties
t. underage
Nah shit is still great as always.
>no controller support
OP isn't wrong at all
Um sweetie, how can it age like milk if it was always bad? System shock 2 will always be superior
>controller support
hahahahaha
>tfw trying to play the game
Games don't age, only information carriers with them on do.
>install new vision
>remap some controls
done
I played it with my PS3 controller, you need to make a profile in your favorite program and it's a pain in the ass but when you do it well it feels very natural
If you're playing the Steam version it has issues with the lighting, there's an easy to download launcher that fixes it. Also I like the game but what the fuck is up with the A.I., I get that it was made over a decade ago but you can literally crouch walk right next to an enemy and it'll never know.
Show me your settings. I legit refuse to play this without a pad in 2017.
>I legit refuse to play this without a pad in 2017.
Why?
I would just take a screenshot but that wouldn't work since i also meddled with the in-game key configuration and i don't feel like booting up the game. Just do it yourself
One thing i'll say though is that you must by all means lower the stick thresholds and eliminate analog duality
I like being comfortable and that takes precedence over anything.
>I like being comfortable
You can just smell the soy emanating from this statement
Indeed. Like a fine cheese. It is now inaccessible to the Pepper Jack/Cheddar/American cheese crowd. As it should be.
Go and partake in your MOBA and COD. We will shine like the brightest star.
Says the guy who doesn't do deadlifts like a pussy
>yfw it even predicted soyboys like OP
What's not comfortable about KB+M? Do you play from your couch?
>muh deadlifts
Enjoy not being able to walk at 40
>playing a computer rpg with controller
im a babby millenial and i think the game has aged fantastically. it has low poly edginess, but the gameplay still feels 'modern' and doable and not full of archaic shit that i have to read an encyclopedia to engage with
Paul.. I... I...
Point and laugh
That's terror
So how much longer until it's cheese?
terror build into the system
...
emulate it for the ps2, do it
Deus Ex is timeless you fag.
t. brainlet
What the fuck is wrong with you?
Don't you want steering wheel support while you are at it?
Literally the only thing that "aged like milk" in the game is the enemy AI -- but the AI's still pretty good. With mods like GMDX that improve the AI, the game is honestly flawless.
>A clean, simple graphic style that still holds up incredibly well as long as you use a modern launcher to play in modern resolutions
>A true sandbox experience -- finish levels any way you like
>A story with themes that get more relevant as time goes on and writing that is actually enjoyable
>A soundtrack that is absolutely incredible -- youtube.com
And on top of all those reasons, the whole game has this beautiful dreamlike quality to it. Deus Ex is unparalleled, in my opinion. A true masterpiece that will stand the test of time, unlike the yellow mess the franchise has turned into now.
Okay let me break it down
Play with KBM
>have to rest your arms on the desk and use your mouse either sitting up straight or the usual hunchback position
>doing this for hours of gaming
vs
play with pad
>can lean on your chair while resting your foot somewhere or even rest on your bed
>can relax your arms on the side parts of your desk chairs
>don't have to be right next your monitor
Tell me, what's more comfortable
>controller support in Deus Ex
WE'RE 100% BLACK
>Deus Ex is timeless you fag.
Deus Ex just like Ghost in the Shell movie and blade runner 90's movie are overrated garbage that have been surpassed with it's latter versions
you do realize in deus ex you have to type in a lot of usernames/passwords right?
>Do you play from your couch?
What's wrong with playing from your couch?
It's not even an excuse for wanting to play a FPS with a controller.
You can also just go outside, fall a tree and cut out a nice, big rectangle if you're too poor to buy a couchmaster
>hurting Wojak like that
Your opinion -> trash
is this what passes as bait nowadays?
>Pleb with shitty office chair compares being a fatass hunchback with no posture to sitting in his beanbag chair.
>nu-Deus ex
It was on its way up in Squeenix EU shit the bed with the microtransaction antics and Breach Mode garbage.
>new are always better
as expected from brainlesswojack-posters
That was more of me answering how I feel about pads and KMB in general.
Also do you have to? Like no other alternative?
>blade runner
>90's movie
fucking retard
>people unironically wanting to play a game like this with a controller
Helios delete this board already.
That isn't an accurate representation of KB+M at all, you likely have a shit tier desk and chair. I can sit comfortably with my back straight or rested against my chair and my arms resting at my side with armrests. And I'm not too close or too far away from my monitor at all.
Why did you nitpick hunchback when i mentioned sitting up straight?
Try explain to me how having to rest your arms on your desk and sit right next to a monitor for hours of gaming is more comfortable than regular couch gaming?
In the PC version, yes. I'm not sure how they approached it in the PS2 version.
It's one of my favorite games ever, but you're right. The trick to playing it today is to really immerse yourself in it. If you give the game a chance, it will drag you in before long and you won't even notice the dated controls and presentation.
>Blade Runner
>90s movie
You truly are a brainlet user
>my arms resting at my side with armrests
Now that's a lie, how the fuck are you doing that when you have to play with a KBM?
Not him but that's how I always sit and am sitting right now. How short are your arms that this concept is foreign to you?
By having my elbows/forearm on the armrest and my hands on KBM, how hard is it to fucking imagine?
How are the controls dated? All the keys can be reassigned. If you're referring to the "feel" of the game, I don't agree either. It feels just fine to move around and shoot/interact.
Idk I'm 6'0 but if I'm using a KBM my arms won't be resting on the chair and still be typing. Unless you got some wireless shit then can't picture it.
im a good neighbor...
...
>mfw playing through Deus Ex for the first time stepping out of the MJ12 lab finding out it was in UNATCO the whole time
It's like this except the yellow outlined support thing would actually just be the armrest on my chair. I also have the keyboard slightly closer, I can lean back and still be far within reach of everything.
Also I wouldn't be having my elbow on the desk, or be leaning in on the monitor that much.
Actually one of my favorite moments in a game. That and when the AIs contact you.
Why couldn't we side with him lads?
>too stupid to deadlift correctly
>has the audacity to call others soyboys
...
I want to put the game her right now-
I saw a real autistic person years ago. He was extremely aggressive and he scared the living shit out of me. Calling somebody autistic makes no sense at all. That's not an argument. People with down syndrome were more functional than this guy ever could be.
...
bumping a beautiful thread
revision or gmdx?
Revision messes with the brilliant level design and has terrible new character models. It's a good effort though and worth checking out if you've played Deus Ex a million times and just want something different.
GMDX retains the spirit of the vanilla version and basically refines the game's systems to perfection and makes it look better.
Still would recommend vanilla with Deus Exe and the DX10 renderer if it's your first playthrough, though.
Hey Sup Forums, tell me why should I play it other than "iiiiit's a classsic durr"
Bought it long ago and never really cared for it
...
Don't play it.
I watched a lets play on Youtube and got the same experience, don't bother
see if you can refund it
fags
if you remade this game 1:1 but with modern graphics, theres not a single mechanic that would feel dated
Do you guys consider the ending(s) good? (in terms of quality lol)
>lol
What has surpassed Deus ex user? I'd like to know.
Deus ex is still good and deserves it's spot as one of the best pc games ever made. Hell I only beat it 2 years ago and I still thought it was great, while I had trouble getting into another classic like vtmb I had no trouble getting in Deus ex.
>finish first level
>time to go back to base
>the base is right next door to the NSF attack
>Go to women's bathroom
>"Don't think i won't report this"
>Later get briefed by boss
>Get scolded for going into the ladies bathroom
TECHNOLOGY
Me too
Will this fix the darkness looking like shit?
...
There's not a comparison for video games.
Deus ex is quite different. Saying it's not good is just proof that you're not good at video games. That you can't deal with a very simple AI. What will you do when an AI can recognize your own speech patterns?
No. I think the bad shadows are the only thing mods haven't been able to fix.
ive never played deus ex and this image is making me want to
i'm generally terrible at video games but i found deus ex to be pretty easy, even on the hard setting
>not playing with Malkavian Mod
How do I make the shooting not shit? I'm not asking for CoD style action sequences, but it's pretty annoying having to wait 10 years before taking a goon out with a pistol.
