I don't know the details about the story in Kirby. Did Dedede have enough food for himself? If he didn't, he was in the right to take the food from Kirby. But if he was greedy, it could be that he did not.
Anyway, this is a pretty complex story with many sides and viewpoints to consider.

On the surface, it sounds like it could be making a case for communism, with the lesson that everyone deserves food, not only the greedy rulers. But it's made more complicated by the fact that Kirby actually started with ownership of the food in the traditional sense. If Dedede was starving, Kirby was the real thief, and this would be a case for the social construct that is property.
In any case, this story is clearly political.
