I had ATH M50s and these feel like the next step up if you're a faggot like me who like strong bass

You mean headhpones.

Also have these.

...

Great taste user

Amazed I got these for under a $100 where I live.

But those are headphones user

Poor fag incoming more so I refuse to pay a ton for audio because I can’t really tell the difference unfortunately

I have a pair of Superlux Evos that I generally use along with my AirPods just for general use.

If I need a mic then I have a pair of the HyperX stingers that I use. Surprisingly good for $50

...

...

I have these too, they're nice. I got them for $50 a couple months ago off Newegg, US.

m1060

You will hear difference ifyou try 100+ headphones. More clarity wise and soundstage(if open back)
Good haul

...

Hmm maybe one day I’ll buy a really nice pair of headphones

I’ve got an overseas move this year, and I need to pay off some debt before I worry about any of that.
The AirPods are the most expensive headphones I’ve ever bought.

I prefer in ears most of the time anyway just comfort wise.

...

...

same as you OP.
Running them through fiio tascham 3 and schiit valhalla 2.
Mad good sound and comfy glow

audio technica ath m40x

...

Nice taste, I still rock the X1's and they are great apart from the pads which are breaking down and not replaceable

god damn phoneposting, forgot to add
any advice for wearing those with glasses?

I unironically use electronic earpro with an aux port as a headset.

I also have X2's, but my headband is different. It's much thicker. They're quite heavy but I love them.

Same here, just bought them actually, they're bretty great. Obviously no mic, but who cares about that.

Not just for gaming tho

they are great, ive been surprised by how many little details in sound ive been missing

...

I fell for the same meme.

Logitech H600 Wireless Headset. Phenomenal headset, use it only for audio now though as I have a yeti. Like $30 at walmart 4 years ago, still holds enough charge to last 6-ish hours of gaming.

...

Love my V-Modas

These were good value for money

I have these but I find they're not comfortable. Any recs for headphones that are good for long periods of use?

>wireless anything
dumb normies

I have speakers, like an adult.

men of culture

...

An other recent owner. I didn't notice anything new with them. Took me about a day to get used to the new sounds in vidya. First time I used them in Overwatch, I couldn't triangulate any sound, even a character speaking in front of me. The following day it felt normal.
Previous headphones were Sony MDR XB950, with some impressive bass that rocked my core.

im a normie

>Retard fucker

i got memed into this by csg.

>not having open 990 Pro

Sennheiser HD 558, foam mod, Brainwavz velour pads, V-Moda BoomPro

Bretty gud taste all-around in here.

>Poor fag incoming
>my AirPods
Except for this asshole.

>Obviously no mic
youtube.com/watch?v=oXqsVr60ypU
You can do what I did. There's also the NeoMusica mic that's natively compatible with the M40X and M50X, as well as Sennheiser's HD 500 series, but QA seems spotty on that one.

>velour pads

This might be the best headset ever made, but fuck velour pads, I fucking hate them

poorboys report in

Other than being lint magnets, what's wrong with them? I love them.

not him but they're a fucking dust magnet and I don't find it so easy to clean it off
it's disgusting

The only best option is genuine leather pads aand it's freaking damn expensive in comparison

Hi, bro.

xbone is the only good PC controller but the USB connection is horseshit

...

...

In ears are not comfirtable. Try Sony MDR-1A, its over ear experience and they're piterary light as a feather and that leather is super soft. Also in future if you buy heafphones, try to evade plastic headband if you can.
I always have 3rd party cable with in line mic just in case.

You're really missing out my dude. Don't ever use wireless mice, but there's nothing wrong at all with a wireless headset. You're never going to notice the single digit ms response time without being someone who's going to professional LAN events anyways.

...

>absorbing sweat and air moisture
>not absorbing sweat and air moisture

Hard choice

Should I swap out my m50x for DT770s? It's not necessary but it looks like a nice upgrade.

That is very true, but good not genuine leather pads are pretty decent even compared to leather

I love my wireless G602 :/
Not much of an upgrade. You will lose some bass and get a bit more treble and clarity. Look at something like HD600 tier

Better to just replace the pads like I did.
Got the brainwavz hybrid pads.
I can wear the head set for as long as I want since the pads dont make contact with my ears

I am also planning to get these, what is a good dac/amp to go with these cans?

What about sound quality though?

i have a feeling logitech is not appreciated here

I use these with custom tips for everything.
Used to have a HE-400i, found out I don't like headphones and just use IEMs.

Leather pads pros:
>easier to clean
>better sound isolation
>not absorbing sweat
>sturdier and worn-out less

Velour pros:
>better ear breathing

There is a tactile preferences and I understand that someone would prefer one thing other another. But personally I prefer leather, but haven't wrote it as a leather pro.

as far as I'm concerned the HD 558/9s are the best budget headphone you could possibly buy. I've had mine for a year now and they're almost flawless, I've never loved a pair of headphones more than I do these, they make music enjoyable in a way that it never had been before. Also you literally won't find more comfortable headphones, unless you have big ears that is, I have worn them on multiple occasions 14+ hours and never so much as even a tiny bit of fatigue has set in, they are fucking perfect.

The only downside is the budget build., they're pretty damn ugly, and the plastic grill is an eyesore. Getting the 598/9 for the more deluxe build might honestly be worth it if you are going to use these for years and years.

>velour earpads
>sweat

most fags don't own the headsets pictured.
they just wish to own.

Nigga like maybe 3 posted are actually expensive

I bought the first version and they had the shittiest connectors known to man, literally couldn't wiggle them at all or the sound would drop

Glad they fixed it pretty fast, I remember liking the sound but sadly haven't gotten around to buying another one.

paying over $26.99USD for a children's toy is expensive, and a farce.

M40x reporting in. Clamping force is a little tight rn but I'm stretching it in a yoga block, definetly helps

Replacing the pads with brainwavz is a massive improvement for these. I am currently wearing a set of M40X+brainwavz. Even still, these are not the most comfortable. For closed headphones, my MDR-V6 are both more comfortable and IMO have better sound.

Most comfortable I have personally used is AKG K702 with the flat headband (no bumps). These are also my favorite for sound, but open headphones isn't always ideal even at home. Durability is unfortunately not the best: these are the only audiophile headphones I have owned that have actually fallen apart. The plastics used on some parts of the headband are simply not durable enough.

Get cucked

AirPods are ultimate comfy. Instant connection to my X as soon as they go into my ears, and they work on everything.

I connect them to my PC, iPad Pro, iPhone X, Vita, PS4, and Switch.

And definitely fuck cables when I'm not at home. These things have never left my ears on accident, and the battery lasts a good time.

If you use the stock ear pads on the M50X then most anything is an upgrade in comfort.
Either way I would consider it a step up.

I owned a pair of Superlux HD681 evo's for a day. It's literally a torture machine, the velour and leather pads it comes with both suck, those weird skull bumps on the headband are annoying and the clamp was unbearable and to top it all off it literally is covered in gloss, looks like a cheap kid's toy. Feels like one also.

Not sure but mine may have been broke because the audio sounded like muffled ass, my 668b sounds pretty decent. 668b somehow manages to just as bad of a torture machine as well. Got my 668b used so the clamp wasn't too bad.

They're not meant to be gaming headphones, there soundstage and positioning suck.

...

You could've got the Sony pair that has ANC and is actually a IEM so it's more useful outside.

>They're not meant to be gaming headphones
But I use them for music like 90% of the time, suck me.

had a g602 and it bricked on me. they rmad me another but it's just a cheap piece of shit and laggy. wireless is a meme my dude. g502 now and life is gud. I actuallyhave meant to take my g602 to work but forgot. thanks for the reminder.

ps that mouse is heap of shit user

Irrespective of any of that, don't come crowing about how you're a poorfag and then talk about your $160 headphones. Actual poorfags use those Panasonic earbuds that memed around a while ago.

Ive had it for a year and have no issues, no lags and batterys last me months. wtf user?

Where the Sennheiser HD500+ club at?
Use these plus a Blue Yeti mic

>hearing things is for children

Just wow.

Hyper x Cloud Alpha.

They are comfy as fuck and I really enjoy the audio quality all around on these ones.

The Sonys don't have the W1 chip. I like placing them in my ears and automatically routing my audio, pausing when I remove on.
I guess so. I also didn't pay for them. They were a birthday present.

>thinks it's adults with common sense paying $300+ for something that $19.99 does just as good.

common sense is the key word(s) here.

I guess it's a necessity for ikeks.
I'd rather just get actual quality so I usually abstain from wireless.
Also smart shit in general, maybe except for TVs because there's literally no choice but pro equipments.

Sorey pal, but nothing for 20$ will perform that good, even nothing at 20$, will beat 50

they;re shit. enjoy your cheap shit my man.

desu they aren't that bad, I think I just got a bad one. even my new one has lag issues though, wireless doesn't even compare to my wired g502.

I bought a headset/microphone combo from walmart for $50 Afterglow was the name of the company irrc and I got my Cloud Alphas for $100. I tried the $4 headset from the dollar store and I have to say that the quality jump between the $4 and the $100 headphones is beyond understanding. I was hearing things I didn't know existed in songs I loved on the $100 headphones.

Stop being a salty poorfag and finance your budget to allow for such purchases.

These are one of the best headphones in its price range, if you're like me and value Tremble > Bass. However if you're a bass man than there are much better options at the same price.

And don't be a retard like this guy who ruined the balance and sound signature by applying the foam mod.

>They were a birthday present
Oh.

I, too, would rather tremble before my headphones than have bass.

a $20 sound card and a $20 headset is all you need. especially if you are just a gamer.
thinking different is childish.

>I was hearing things I didn't know existed in songs
lol 128 bit rate mp3s

so you spent $150 for shit. got'cha

>$20 headset
>bothering with soundcards
Just don't use the front headphone port

going to be honest, i don't think anyone ever does..but you never know.

Great headset for the price. I'm not a child so I don't need "gamur" gear trash and on a budget since life is expensive.

I prefer comfort and usability for being on the move so they are perfect. Plus the charging case is tiny and barely noticeable in my pocket.
I mean I put them on my list, but I don't know if I would have paid $160 for them. I really do enjoy them though.

I use them on my Vita all the time because they just connect right away, and sometimes when I don't feel like using real headphones I use them on my Switch and PS4.

I play FFXIV on PS4 (no clue why) so I use my Airpods to Discord with PC friends.

Why are you so butthurt?
