The LA engine wasn't even an entirely new engine, it was an extension of the engine made for For Frog The Bell Tolls.
There is nothing new added to the Oracle games' engine - just some new content and scripts.

Maybe you are, because I was very clearly talking about how the Oracles games use an entirely new engine. This is extremely obvious if you play one for five seconds, since in Oracles you no longer trigger preternatural speeches when bumping into random objects, the menus are a million times better, and you no longer have to mash buttons like an idiot to attempt to save. Oracles isn't a rom hack, it just mimicks LA's style.

Please show me how Oracles is just a rom hack. The engine, which is not only about menus or text boxes but about ring equips, warping, mapping, etc. is 100% new. You're the one who's completely tech illiterate, even the vaguest knowledge of coding shows that the Oracles has an entirely different engine from LA.
