Looking for games that I can play with my GF who has never played vidya in her life that would be easy but still fun

We've started trine 2 on easy and I can tell it will be a little to much for as it gets harder because she's never touched a controller before

Or get an emulator and download something like Thunder Force IV and Contra 3. Those are pretty good party games.
Guilty Gear is another. Accent Core #Reload in specific.
Crypt of the Necrodancer is pretty easy and two-player.
The point is, just try to have fun.

I have never seen this situation play out well. This is just not a good thing for you relationship. Playing vidya is about escapism. To capture your attention for hopefully a long amount of time as to distract from the existence around you. Love is supposed to be the alternative to staring into the void.

Don't let her play any first person or third person game, it's a little to much for first timers. She will struggles with the viewpoint more than the controller itself.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is perfect for this. It's pretty casual, cute, and still gets pretty tricky if you actually get far enough into it. She'll like it

That's what I like to play. I don't know much outside of that. They're all easy and fun though, and pretty much exactly what people who don't play videogames expect from a videogame

Yeah sorry if I sounded ungrateful, I fuking love gungeon and renegade ops looks neat. Its just that I recently went through steam trying to scrounge for coop games for me and a bro but I came to the realization that the majority of them are isometric shooters. Really hard to find good couch coop out there these days.
