Vergil was dumb as hell for not informing Dante about the key step in the fulfillment of his plans. Dante was retarded because his first instinct was "you want to rule like Mundus! You're bad! F-Society!"

Vergil's design was so fucking shit in DmC. At least Donte's outfit kind of made sense for a "realistic DMC".
