How many years before you can have realistic snow physic in games?
Slowly accumulate, and then have a track of where people walked?

It's called Minecraft, kid. Look it up.
>Hold forward to walk slowly
Woe so exciting
>all that extra save data bloating just for muh realism
>not liking snow enough to want good snow mechanism
I have not seen real snow in the last 25 years.
don't be a dumb idiot. there are better ways of managing data than that
That sucks man, i'm sorry
It adds absolutely nothing to the gameplay though. If you want realism, go outside.
>not living in snow countries
It's like you dont want to be comfy
15 years given most games don’t even have any dynamic liquid physics
I went outside and there was absolutely zero snow.
Hahaha
>he thinks the game industry has any interest in advancing technology anymore.
How does it not add to gameplay?
>Stealth game : can see guards patrol routes and they can see your tracks so you have to step where they stepped
>FPS : Follow tracks to hunt down an enemy around a corner
>Racing games : Have to deal with snow, dangerous BLACK ice, and slush conditions
Snow realism would be awesome for all games.
There's no snow here right now and I live in fucking Finland
All i want is a sniper elite game set during the winter war with realistic snow physics, is that too much to ask for?
How
Snow is my life and I live in Montreal. How does Finland not have snow yet? It's January. We had a full week of -35C with wind factor over here.
Should be snowing right now
probably still not what you want but there is a snow mod for Spintires

looks pretty good
fuck the snow.
Bro. Be cool. Chill down.
I do live on the southern coast though, there's probably quite a lot in the north
It's not, at least in the neighbouring town
>no snow yet this year
>suddenly blizzard forecast for tomorrow
>downgraded earlier today to just be a lot of wind and rain
Right now. Only on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro
Looks good.
Who is living in the south and getting snow here?
I'm in SC, my poor little dog can't even be walked because it's unfamiliar and scary to her, and too cold because I never expected to need to buy mittens for her.
I'm amazed no one mentioned Assassin's Creed 3. Did this shit years ago.
>dangerous BLACK ice,
Das pretty racis, man
>literally hovering over the snow
4theplayers™
that game was so good
...
game?
...
Jackie Chan
They animated the snow falling from her feet wrong and it bothers the fuck out of me
The Division kinda does this, the engine handles snow very nicely
Black Ice only makes up 15% of all the ice on the road but causes 50% of accidents.
Holy fuck
Company of heroes 2 already did that
