Why do all good things have to come to an end?
Why do all good things have to come to an end?
>because half-life
What made Valve good?
Half-Life was a good game
Half-Life 2 was a tech demo
Portal 1/2 was gimmicky
Team Fortress was great
Team Fortress 2 sucked
Who cares about ricochet and that WWII game
Not am impressive track record
You told them they could make more money off of microtransactions.
>Team Fortress was great
>Team Fortress 2 sucked
I almost took the bait.
Dunno if you ever played TF1 but it was much more fun (for me) than TF2
There's only 1 server up now but you should give it a shot
I only stay on Steam because of the cards and badges. if GOG had these things I would have jumped ship long ago,
>Dunno if you ever played TF1
>TF1
It's called Team Fortress Classic for a reason. It was a goldsrc remake of the very popular quake mod Team Fortress Forever
Fortress Forever is a Source version of Quake Team Fortress/Team Fortress Classic.
>working on source 2 engine and releasing it for free
>working on 3 new games
>working on new hardware and technology
>running the largest gaming platform
>running and updating 2 of the most popular MP games
>making half life/portal movies with JJ abrams
>coming to an end
The presentation.
HL2 was a tech demo ahead of its time.
Portal was original
TF2 was an interesting team FPS
Would you rather Valve keep pumping out endless rehashes at full price? I'm certainly not a fan of them taking a backseat ride so that cosmetic microtransactions can continue supporting their whole online store, but the alternatives weren't exactly pretty.
i think making steam made them pretty fucking great for a while tbfh
they've been teasing source 2 for like 4 years now.
And the only game that uses it is dota
that is quite retarded
Steam was universally hated as a pointless, buggy program you were forced to install to play HL2 and CS.
Remember when Steam was released and heavily criticized for forcing you to activate HL2 online?
Of course most of you underage shits don't.
Dude, it's obvious they put that on the desktop intentionally for people to discover and freak out about.
maybe so then. but how about now? if you want to buy a game you go to steam or GOG
Nobody with a brain does that anymore. Steam has the worst prices by far. If you actually want to buy a game, you go to a price comparison site and check where there's the best deal.
i membuh dat!
tf2 have microtransactions
tfc doesnt
