The Seven Heroes did literally nothing wrong, the Ancients were the real antagonists all along but by the time of the game's events it doesn't matter because they fucked off to another dimension and those who remains were basically a neutral faction who wanted to stop the Seven mostly to give them eternal rest.
Even Oaive acknowledges that the Heroes are just victims of some horrible circumstances once you meet her again, the only hero who was an actual asshole was Dantarg.
