you need to open your scope and horizon then (pun unintended). there's tons of great games on switch which you probably put off directly, and I blame lack of demo for that. mario+rabbids is great. stardew valley is absolutely fantastic. steamworld dig 2 is great. binding of isaac has a steep learning curve but is addictive for easily over 300 hours. mario kart 8 is great in small doses with friends. shovel knight is great fun. can't say anything about xenoblade 2, since i don't like such complex and long rpgs. mario and zelda are just the cherry on top of the cake, they're milestones in gaming, but theres TONS more to the switch right now. if you just want it you can entertain yourself easily 1000h until new stuff comes (which will be soon, january direct next week).

I feel like the ones that aren't fake smiling like retards don't really deserve to be in this picture.

About 5M units in the first 10 months or so unless my math is wrong. It's close. Also, the articles are comparing the Switch to Wii sales, so it's a home console to home console comparison. That's how they do these things. Which, I get, but handheld consoles are also video game consoles. And the Wii/DS BOTH sold amazingly. The Switch doing as well as one of them is great, but not as great as that era overall. This is still bad news for Sony, but that's good for us. It's worse news for Xbox, because Phil is fucked.
