Game changes its genre halfway through

>game changes its genre halfway through

>game starts as a beat em up
>turns into a driving/rts game

fuck mr shitface

>game starts as an RPG
>the last third is a FPS

Brutal Legend is good though.

Bloodborne actually did it well.

>game begins as a typical 3d platformer parodying 80s and 90s movies
>last third is an incredibly technically impressive TPS given the time and console it was on

>game starts as a cooking simulator
>last part is grand strategy

I want to play this.

Conker????

Dying Light?

>stealth passages in action games
>action passages in stealth games
Which one's worse?

Depends on if the former is forced stealth where being seen is an instant game over

Brutal legend was shit, dude. I haven't been so disappointed in a video game for a long time.

>Every single iteration in the series is a different genre

>game starts as a cooking simulator
>actual gameplay requires higher apm than starcraft
fuck cook, serve, delicious

?

>game changes its genre every 10 seconds

Going by experience with both genres, the former.

Generally when a stealth game has an action segment it's usually manageable or decently made within the confines of the game.

In a fucking action game though? Jesus christ some of the stealth segments I've played. Dirge of Cerberus immediately comes to mind with the Cait Sith segment. I never beat the game because of it, it was that fucking bad.

Dying light is as rpg as far cry

VTMB

Fuck don't remind me
I loved the game until I got to the point I physically could not manage the amount of juggling I had to do

Name 1 (one) game that did this.

I downloaded an APM meter and it went up to 300-350 on extreme difficulty. Pretty dope for a game that seems like a casual management sim.

What game?
