"上 (Can't read the middle) コード64"

"上 (Can't read the middle) コード64"
Do you ever think the japanese look at the "L is real" theory and think we're retarded?

Eternal Star

probably. maybe it was meant to be that way just to see how retarded we'd go

As a kid I though it was a memorial to the seven stars from Mario RPG.

>on (something) code 64
how does this make any more sense than l is real or eternal star?

Japanese doesn't work the way you think it does.

but what does code 64 mean?

Hard to say how it's all related since I can't make out anything in the middle of it.

exactly, so how does it make more sense than something like eternal star?

Well, the game is called Super Mario 64 and it's on the Nintendo 64. Also, it's made using code.

Japanese is a contextual language. You need most of the sentence to correctly understand what definition of the kanji are being used. Without the center, it won't make sense.

So this means that one letter from Nintendo about it being a developer joke is fake as shit.

you didn't answer my question. how is this fragmented and therefore possibly nonsensical guess at what it says more convincing than a guess which does make sense like eternal star?

Because it's not a guess. All you have to do is reference the legible parts of the texture to see how obvious it is.

>legible
the point is that it's so blurry it could just as easily be eternal star as it could be what you propose.

Tell me how コ looks like an S

there's a faint part above it that could either be the top of the s or part of the stone texture behind it, but again it's so blurry that it's impossible to tell for sure. but imo it's not an not either and is probably the same "hylian" script as in oot.

i know everything about mario lore

>Guys it's totally illegible

what does it say then? the end part of the first line doesn't really look like 64.

...

imagine all the retarded shit this guy has to answer

what boo soudn when you kick the bowser pic?
does he mean the bump sound?

>Eternal Star
>it's broken

But what does it mean?

How likely is it that Game Play Counselor Michael D. Chandler was privy to this information?

>big boo sound when you kick the bowser picture

After 上 the next character seems to be い

Does the bottom text say "Pit Hunger Jr" or something along the lines?

>big boo sound when you kick the bowser picture

w-what the fuck is he talking about

that retarded kid is probably talking about the sound that plays when you kick anything. its not a boo sound

Looks more like ね than い

Could be. I also thought it may be a り initially. If we could find the original pic not blown up that was used as the texture and had an user with top tier eyes look at it we'd know for sure what it says.

...

Forgot pic

Right here. This is gonna be a bitch

Use your autism to find the artist and ask them

i enhanced it with photoshop and now you can read it

>give credit if used

Is this 2002?

>Give credit to me for using textures I didn't make.

Very likely pulled from spriters-resource, in which case yes, or earlier.

yep, first place I thought to grab it from since they don't have blurred textures. Why did people do that for stuff they didn't make?
