A company approaches you to make a King of the Hill fighting game that is beginner friendly and faithful to the series.
What approach would you take and what characters would you include? Minimum 10.

I turn down the offer.
...
Aren't they reviving KoTH now?
What issues have they not dealt with on the show yet
I firmly but politely ask them to leave.
Hank is the ryu of the game, the generic but reliable fighter. Also fire attack via pro-PAIN
Dale is the trickster, lot of reliance of special moves and keeping away from the fight
Boomhoer is the quick one, relies on getting in close and stacking up combos as he taunts.
Billdozer is the large slow grapple with a good bit of reach and damage.
>mfw a Dale picker just spams pocket sand
Kahn is all about counters, baiting the enemy in then turning it around. Say he has a taunt that would buff him if he gets it off but he can parry through it to stop you
John Redcorn is distance, focuses on ranged attacks with tomahawks and bow.
Lucky has a shotgun and actually is a close up mudfighter. Focus on interrupts and getting in the opponents face.
Cotton is slow to move but has a smaller hitbox. But watch out if he gets in he aint leaving with a mix of grabs and army approved knifing skills.
Peggy has great normals and easy to use specials that always fit a situation, but she can rarely seal the deal with a good read or two since just like her long-term problem solving skills, her combo potential is garbage
I change it to a rpg or actually make it like that GTA ripoff from the episode.
>I just stabbed that parking attendent, where's the button to turn myself in?
It's not faithful to the series if it's a fighting game.
Grand Theft Arlen
Jesus Christ I don't even into fighting games but this suits Peggy perfect.
PROPAIN
Luanne is technical a bit like dale, relies on special moves but for every hit she land she heals. Determined to make it through.
Buck Strickland like kahn is counter character but where kahn relies on getting a parry buck relies on his specials which override most others attacks, all about timing to best ruin your foes day.
Bobby is the summon spammer. Calls in joseph, kahn jr. and other friends as assists.
Peggy is a shit joke character.
tell them no thanks i’m a simpsons fan
Guys, I'm beginning to think that the Dale Gribble character is just a reskinned Rusty Shackleford, they play entirely too similar.
crap thats better than mine.
Fuck off, literally a different character
>Tranny bathrooms
>Bobby tries E-sports instead
>Trump
That's all I can think of
Fuck off, this has nothing to do with the thread. Also, King of the Hill and the first two Shrek movies are ten times better than any moe shit.
1. Hank
2. Dale
3. Boomhauer
4. Bill
5. Peggy
6. Bobby
7. John Redcorn
8. Kahn
9. Connie
10. Cotton
Each character has a special ability or attack unique to them. It would play like a beat-em-up sidescroller in different settings. You can pick up items like propane canisters and six-packs during the fight. Some characters would be unlockable by facing them in a story mode, which loosely follows various storylines of popular episodes.
*instead of football
I wish KoTH and Futurama had good games.
I'd rather it be an RPG, either turn based or real time.
What is the source of the image for /3/?
Fucking Ted Wassonasong is such an asshole.
Who would make great DLC characters?
I don't know much about this show, but I can start with the Roster. At least shovel in everyone you see in the opening theme, the rest can be characters I know about because fuck that fans. As far as the combat could go, MvC:I or BB CTB would be my approach that represents closer to the traditional fighting game format. Otherwise I'd just make it an arena brawler, something like Tom and Jerry War of the Whiskers.
Luanne's momma with a fork finisher
How have you not seen KoTH nigga?
>Reveal trailer ends showing a pretty bland roster, just the main cast and maybe a couple side characters
>Fades to black, looks like the trailer is over until suddenly
>"Vaya con Dios..."
I would take their money, and then instead create a strategy based flag football game.
-Locations would be various yards and parking lots of show locations.
-Certain characters would gain homefield advantages, if you happen to play on their own yard/lot.
-You can build your team from any character you've unlocked. Both teams can have the same character. But you can't have two of the same characters on the same team.
-Starting roster is Hank, Peggy, Bobby, Dale, Bill, and Boomhauer.
-Unlockable characters are Kahn, Connie, Minh, John Redcorn. Cotton, Luanne, Buck, and possibly other notables I haven't considered.
-It should go without saying that each character has their own special ability. But also, they all have powermoves that can only be performed with other characters on the field. So pairing is something to consider.
-Not sure how many should be on each team, but no less than 3 on each side. Two is too few to get the sensation that you're playing with all the characters.
Ask dragonballz if it's okay to make all the characters super saiyan
