Honestly, the Switch was going to get an emulator very VERY soon. The Switch itself is just a garbage Nvidia Tegra tablet from their failed Shield product. Its hardware, API, etc... are known.

The PS4 is 5 years old and it already has an emulator, which is significanly faster than the PS3 and PS2.

The Switch will be easy to emulate, and it'll solve the problem of buying Nintendo's garbage devices to access their games.
