How. Do. You. Fucking. Aim

How. Do. You. Fucking. Aim.
I'm literally trash, Sup Forums? I've tried adjusting mouse sensitivity, removing FPS caps. I still can't hit shit worth a damn. What's the secret?

>playing Overwatch
I'm looking for constructive criticism. Take your memes elsewhere.

Play a lot, it's literally point and click.

By playing the game. You don't get better at anything by tricks.

Practice. Don't fall for memes that >pros or other tryhards use. Just find your own comfort zone and work from there.
If you play with mouse acceleration, that's fine. Just adapt to it.

>Oversoyboy literally to stupid to point and click

Aiming in overwatch is just fucking hard for some reason. Like there's built in input lag. It's shit compared to counter strike that's for sure, even csgo pros have mentioned this before but you don't see people talk about it because normies can't tell.

Reduce sensitivity further, slow your own shit down and take the time to aim. Go practice with a bunch of AI Lucios and try to get headshots as McCree.

Someone dump all of Hoobamon and Firolian works god damn it.

All his new stuff is locked behind gumroad/patreon. There has to be SOMEONE that has all the new stuff

Sombra is my waifu and I want to marry and start a family with her

>What's the secret?

you don't get "good" at aiming, you get consistent
quit changing stuff up so much
a cheap mouse on a normal pad and practice that builds muscle memory
one way to get consistent is to get on Quake Live/Quake 3 and just shoot bots with the railgun

many hours of playing every day for years
pick one sensitivity and stick with it, you need to develop muscle memory before you start fine tuning your sensitivity
practice and patience are key, you wont get good in a week

Do you have a mouse that can change DPI?

Generally you're supposed to start low and work your way up high till you find the right level for you (e.g: 700dpi - 1000dpi - 1500dpi - 2000dpi)

also turn off fucking mouse acceleration instantly if it's on

rly hot til you lift up the flap and find an unmanaged bush

>also turn off fucking mouse acceleration instantly if it's on

this is personal preference

>but-
shh. you were never good at quake and we played high sens ball mice with acceleration. we were better than you then and are still better 20 years later.

point gun at they head, go clicky.

>bush
>bad
i remember what it was like to be a virgin

custom game
headshot only
ai hard of lucios
track for several miunutes before a match
its aids but it helps

A lot of noobs have too high sensitivity but since you already messed with that, the only answer is practice. Play deathmatch mode a lot, try hard to win, and your aim will just improve over time.

Don't play overwatch. It creates bad habits and you get super lazy with your aim because you can get away with it. Unless you are super disciplined I don't see anyone playing OW for a long time and not getting shittier aim.

If you camnot fathom actually playing an FPS like QuakeLive to hone dexterity and game sense you can buy Aim Hero or Aim Lab on steam or some aim flash game to give you a more structured environment to practice aiming

Play runescape for 10 years straight like me

I want to cum in Sombra's big mexican butt

Here's the kicker:
At what consistency must I shoot in order for heroes that require aiming to outclass the heroes that don't.

Bushes are shit
t. Chad

mouse acceleration is absolutely fine for arena shooters, games that have small headshot hitboxes like csgo not so much

Dont go over 1000 DPI since anything over that is meme tier shit.
Realize what style of mouse holder you are. Palm, Claw or Fingertip.
Depending on what style you are you probably then want to adjust your in game speed.
For example I am a fingertip/claw and use high sensitivity because I dont like to move my entire arm around and move my wrist more.
After that just stay with it and practice, took me awhile to learn how to Keyboard and Mouse coming from console as a kid but you get better.

>1600 DPI
>3.4 sens in game
>only play McCree
>72% winrate over 300 comp games
>58% accuracy in game
>only solo queue
>no voice comms
>no sound, music max volume

>4287 SR

Explain this.

Dunno, but Genji is still top tier and he's unga bunga. I have no idea why he's considered high skill.

you should start playing competitively

It's what works for you man and thats good.
Though I use 1000 DPI and 50 in game sensitivity so its probably about the same.

Practice makes perfect

Go into custom games and turn on anabots, they move well and hit you a lot, practice headshots on moving targets

If you play snipers start dropping shots on "assumed target locations" as in as soon as you spot an enemy widow as widow just fire in the area they are spotted frequenting by peeking firing and hiding, do it in a systematic way that doesnt let them gouge when you will appear

The hitboxes for this game are very casual friendly so generally firing near an enemy is usually a hit

If you want to play dps understand that the only counter to some heroes is the same fucking hero, mccree does have the ability to fuck tracer but being a tracer who dicks as hard with the enemy team as enemy tracer is actually better

This is why going widow against a good widow even if youre trash is still good because they have to worry about getting sniped so they will completely drop shitting on your team to outplay or deal with you while your team can just deal with an enemy team with one less dps defending or attacking

Dont pick widow on defense vs attacking widow, the attacking widow has an advantage

Tracer, genji are top picks for carrying games
Sombra can be amazing on defense if you play around disabling tanks
