Perhaps being slapped by Battler was a bigger deal than being slapped by her mother.
Also consider the fact that Uu was linked to Rosa's love. As she believed in magic, she probably thought it would work, and it actually did occasionally. Remember that Rosa would give in eventually and apologise to her after going on a rampage.
This would give her less reason to stop Uuing when it came to dealing with Rosa.
