Was trying to decide what my class should be when I realized I had spent over 40 minutes just on the character creation menu so I chose Deprived simply because all the stats were balanced. Ended up helping me enjoy the game more since it felt like a journey for my character.
Anyone else who chose the Deprived class for their first playthrough of Dark Souls?
Deprived is the only way
Deprived was only good in DS3 because it was the SL1 class
True deprived mode in DS1 is to start as Pyro but drop all your gear
Im pretty sure choosing a pre specialized class saves levels
At least that was the case in ds3. There was no reason to choose deprived if y already knew what you wanted your character to be
But DS3 was also the most respec friendly game, and having a couple less points in fth and a few more in vit doesn't make a difference
don't you have to farm those respec things online?
I thought ds2 was the friendliest with all those soul vessels thrown at you. And you could always use aescethics for more
Hardly makes a difference. The "journey" takes all of an hour or so before you end up with the same stat distribution as one of the other classes.
I played as waste of skin and bones
nah you get 5 repecs per new game cycle on top of that if you wanna change your characters look it costs one as well.
and there's STILL a bug that lets you respec without any cost
oh shit really? had no idea how do you do it?
your stats change as soon as you confirm changes in the submenu (and the saving icon thingy shows up then disappears)
rosaria takes your tongue when you quit the whole conversation
add two and two together
but does it still subtract to the total number of time you can stat change/remake your character? i could give a shit less about keeping tongues since i have a million of them
What’s the best twink build for das1?
no, that also updates when she takes the tongue
so a faith build?
>black flame
>chaos bandit + hornet
also for funsies
>wog in sens
cool beans, i guess I can keep tweaking my pyro until I like him. the only saving grace in 3s pvp is baiting retards with iron flesh/shining finger
wen't with knight of course
that's bloodborne but basically same as deprived
Nice I was thinking demon spear and shotel. Now what are the SL for the twinkle spots? For parish it’d be 11 right? What would it be for blight town, sewers, sens, and anor londo?
deprived in dks1 is 2ez. In dks2 you start with literally nothing. You start naked and with just your fists to defend yourself. Luckily in the tutorial area there's a dagger which does around 300 damage with a backstab (unupgraded).
I did Deprived first run in DS2 because I thought I knew DS1 well enough and I could go any build I wanted to. Wound up fucking me because not a single endgame build used Deprived as base because it had wasted stats.
What the hell are you talking about?
deprived is fucking awful in 2 instead of starting you off with all stats at 11, everything starts at level 6
you're not making any sense
not him but starting off the game with everything at level 6 is just not fun, you can't use any of the weapons
>deprived
>no armor
>no shield
>no lock on
Anyone that doesnt play these games like this is a fucking casual
by the time you get to majula you dont have any other weapon options besides the dagger you get at the tutorial area, and by then you have enough souls to level up your level 1 deprived anyway, so what exactly is the issue here?
>no weapons
>no healing
>no rolling
>mouse and keyboard only
>locked at 2 fps
you're the only casual here, faggot
>playing with a weapon
just kill yourself mate you'll never make it
I always pick the unspecialized class outside roguelikes. Kinda enjoy growing into something without it being preset
Only that DS classes are harldy specialised.
Not him but I think it's just the thought of it, as you can see your characters class in the stat window throught the game
Can't wrong with knight.
bandit, fuck you if you pick any of the other classes
Oh, it's been way too long since I've last thought about this.
10-15 for Parish, about 20 for the sewers, I think Blighttown is still 20-30, Sen's is about 40, and Anor Londo is definitely in the 40-50 range. I used to invade Anor Londo a lot with a 45 and I was constantly getting action.
