I enjoyed both of these games despite each having a lot of obnoxious flaws and I rarely play AAAs.

I think Breath of the Wild and The Last of Us are both fantastic games for very different reasons.

It doesn't make me think much, if critics say that something I like is good they're right and if they say that something I don't like is good they're wrong.

But if you just take a look at the reviews you can quickly see that their reasons for scoring them are on very different merits.

The Last of Us was rated highly for being an extraordinary "experience".
Breath of the Wild was rated highly for being an extraordinary game.
