Holy shit, I just finished Sanitarium yesterday.

Slay the spire is fun

>dev gives me (you)s

I know. I was there.

>Get a good item
>Devs: "You can thank us later"

...

>tfw my name will be in the end credits of a video game soon

>[e]nd of yorha
all those lost save files those are my niggas

>can't beat the game
>don't get thanked

literally don't. good games sell.

>good games sell
This is not even close to true. Games that have mass appeal sell.

nope, that's not actually how it works. show me a good game that didn't sell and you won the argument.

pro tip, you won't be able to. you will either show me some indie garbage that does 1 thing well but the rest of the game is shit, or it's a gimmick based game with no long term appeal to anyone.

which game, anime poster?

>show me a good game that didn't sell

Developer, or kickstarter backer?

beta tester
Tokyo Xanadu eX+

Thats pretty neat user. Good for you. Hows the game?

Also, this reminds me; Has anyone here played Seven: The Days Long Gone? I never see it mentioned.

Pretty gud
Its got a pretty basic "highschooler fights monsters causing trouble" plot but it manages to make up for this with strong gameplay. One of the cooler aspects of it is that you can switch characters instantaneously during combat, and since each character has different kinds of attacks and different strengths and weaknesses, you can quickly adjust based on whatever enemy you run into while traversing dungeons. Boss fights in particular are pretty challenging and require quick learning of enemy attack patterns and avoiding them as they can quickly run down your health. Even having a bunch of members in your party at a time doesn't make much of a difference since they'll eat through your health if you let them touch you. I like it. Also has a lot of interesting mini-games in an arcade area of the town the game takes place in, and a pretty gud OP.

If you ever try it, just don't expect anything groundbreaking. I hear the instantaneous character switching thing was done in Ys VIII and supposedly that game is better gaemplay wise (haven't touched it myself yet). The boss fights are the only truly challenging part of TX and like I said, the plot is kind of meh. There's some Persona-esque social link style elements to the game but they're not as interesting as Persona's.

Literally no games do this.

someone hasnt played the witcher and or old games and or other games that do this..

You play too much of the same games if you think no games do this, it's actually fairly common

>show me a good game that didn't sell

Devs thank you for playing by making free DLC, we need more devs like this

They cut the content to release it as free DLC though.

>Dev pets in the credits
