Voice acting in that trailer is so bad it's not even funny. None of the character designs are very good either. The mockups in the KS page look like shit as well. What a mess.

Considering they started a kick starter i doubt its final.
But maybe it will be who knows.

This doesn't look like a product being made by people who play or enjoy games. It's a 2d platformer for $150k if that wasn't enough of a giveaway. I hope this doesn't get funded.

It's a rather disapointing game. It genuinally feels like the guy making it doesn't know how to program very well. He went with everything being either immobile or 1 'square' in size which is terrible for an action game. Almost all action game characters are 2 'squares' big or more.

The combat isn't fun mostly because the enemy design is so lame. They aren't well designed sprites and they basically just move back and forth at various speeds. There's very little depth to it even by the standards of NES games: castlevania or Zelda 2 has a lot more going on and even has better looking sprites.

The exploration aspect feels like a gimmick as dungeons are extremly linear: the backtracking is more of a chore than anything. And there really isn't much to do in the overworld other than go to a dungeon or shop: as in there's basically no optional content. There isn't even a good reason to grind as level ups don't do enough to matter and I never found a place to spend the money on.

Biggest problem of all is that the cute shota aspect is basically wasted on shitty 8 bit graphics. yeah the porn of anubis is super hot but he doesn't look like that in game.

I would rather die than show off a platformer game where jumping is just moving up and down at a uniform speed
