You can do all that and still have 1 slot for the heals. You can switch habilities inside the dungeon. Also, dont use hounds harry in 2 slot, he needs heals or dodge there.

The final fight gone horribly wrong and Leper that was supposed to fight the Heart was sacrificed first because he was stress-focused, got irrational and refused a bunch of heals and took turns on his own, was about to die next turn anyway.

I am sorry to hear about this, POS 2 HM is truly best boy out of best boys. Basically you know a team comp is a meme if a fast HM couldn't fit into POS 2 or POS 3. Even then HM is on some of the best meme teams (DogSquad, 1HM+3Abom)

Leper is only good with Auntie.
1. You're not taking Auntie to Champion AKA high Dodge dungeons anyway
2. A fast Protect Me can chain into Leper Heal, Stress Heal, whatever
3. Meanwhile your other two members gangbang enemy POS 3 and 4
4. Leper can then either continue to heal off damage or start chunking. If he misses, no big deal. Have some fun.

You basically don't swing with Leper until the fight I already well under control. Trinket him for +Healing, -Stress, or +Prot +Resist...there's no need to boost his damage, it's good base damage in case you need a quick Hew or Intimidate. Meanwhile he condenses your slots. And he can actually heal Stress outright unlike the Flagellant. And he appreciates the +PROT from Guard Me unlike the Flagellant.

Do it if you want to be REMINDED

if you have a really good set up with lots of DOTs/stuns you can get by well enough with only self heals or the small heals of antiquarian

Yeah I don't understand this at all. DD1 gave me three then when I died on DD2 I suddenly had four of them. Now after I beat DD2 I'm back to three what the fuck

generally, if your team composition has a name, it has some value
one example is healer - bh - bh - hellion, which is called hook, line, and yawp!

You basically shouldn't play without a Vestal or an Occultist unless you have a High Damage Comp and you have some off-heals. You need to burst down enemies before they can chain multiple hits and force you to off-heal early and put you on the back. Economy of action is also good aka Riposte. Guarding is also good to manage who is taking DD checks, but in general you need to smash and grab. High speed and stuns a plus. You also need someone to de-stealth.

To be that suggests Houndmaster, Highwayman, Hellion trinketed for some speed, Abomination, fast Plague Doctor for stuns and emergency Battlefield medicine (don't blight unless it's essentially a kill). Arbalest is very respectable, and gives you another valuable de-stealth alongside Tracking Shot. Bounty Hunter works but needs someone to be able to Guard in case he goes DD...probably HM. MAA Bolsterspam actually relies on a Healer to take off the chip damage you'll inevitably take.

Of you're doing that then HWM or Flag are better targets for Protect Me. The damage is so high that Flag will actually enjoy the Prot keeping him from making too many Deaths Door checks, and HWM always appreciates more opportunities to slice. Have fun with Stress attacks that don't proc Riposte tho

stun the collector if you can, the only collected heads you need to worry about are the highway men because they're the only ones that can actually damage you
