I dislike this. There is no point in making you equip blades to pass tests. If you have em you have em, if you don't you don't. Should work without engaging.

It's a puzzle you fuck, if any unequipped blade would count toward it you could just max out on common blades and pass level 40 skill checks.

user you're a dumb dumb if you think that it's a puzzle. The system should just not exist in favor of some other less intrusive progression system like iunno fucking skill points that you unlock as you level and progress through the game.

Also the blade gatcha system is shit too.
