If you already owned SFV it upgrades to Arcade edition but you don't get the season 1 & 2 characters. You still have to buy them with real money or fight money.
They didn't add any new levels, they didn't unlock the season 1 & 2 levels or allow you to unlock them via a specific means. Again, you pay real money or use fight money.
Buying the season 1 & 2 pass if you didn't costs more than buying the game again along side the season 3 content.
That's right, you have to pay $30 for the season 3 pass. Which does not include all costumes and levels for that season. In fact none of the season passes do that. You have to pay for separate costumes and levels.
So Arcade Edition costs $30, which if you buy new you get season 1 & 2. But you don't get season 3. So that's another $30. How do they figure that makes any sense? Why not just charge $30 for AE and include all 3 seasons? They need players to bring the game back from the dead but they already are jewing them away.
Hell, charge $60 and unlock everything up to and including season 3. THEN charge for new costumes and passes after that.
