You're wrong and retarded.

>a city you practically never explore in any meaningful way
Everyone talks like ME1 was a masterpiece but I was disappointed with the series the moment I walked down into the lower citadel area, saw that big flashy skyline, and realised that I'd basically seen the entire explorable 'city' already.

Any city from FFIX

Hekseville

>it’s a comfy city thread
>not a big explorable open city thread

Shame we didn't get to see the Upper City

>no argument

I mean, we technically did see it, but just through a window.

Would have been amazing as an actual hub.

Im torn between Prontera or Geffen.

>Would have been amazing as an actual hub.
Wrong. It's not cyberpunk, so there is no place for this in cyberpunk game.

Not him but bulletspongelands is an argument in and of itself

Look in the mirror and tell yourself "borderlands is a good game". I guarantee you'll crack a smile.

Fuck off its izlude

Can't get more comfy

Horizon 3 is very nice to cruise around in.

Any city in Paper Mario 1 or 2 or Kakariko Village (ALttP especially)

this place

icewind dale

The subject of this thread is comfiest cities in video games though

>Not the castle theme

youtube.com/watch?v=z-dD1gZI03g

Inb4 Khorinis

The OP is fucking borderlands user
You expected taste?

someday, we'll have one game where a block of that is fully modeled and exploreable.

>lots of player traffic
>city small af
>place filled with babbys first job

Besides that I somehow dont feel comfy on portside cities, and I was going to say that merchant city. Which is wierd since im an irl sailor and maybe I remember the trash filled ports in my cunt.

...

In Deus Ex, I always liked France, Chateau DuClare, and Morgan Everett's house. The soundtrack in that part of the game always inspired comfiness.

Combfy by the music alone
youtube.com/watch?v=rQNWafc6_9k

fishing villages are always so comfy

Bethesda needs to update their engine so that they can make bigger cities

I actually prefer the castle theme but I wanted to stay on topic of picking a town theme.
youtube.com/watch?v=ELWCEm8DIYA

>no khorinis
you all should be embarassed

This

They also need to update their work ethic.

Second Son Seattle, especially when its raining.

Less of a city, more of a hub port

With surrounding counteryside, but OP did specifically request city, so...

Exactly is a comfy city thread. Not a skybox thread, so take that ME garbage the fuck elsewhere.

Explain what is comfy about a handful of deserted corridors?

...

I got so fucking lost in this place, the PS2 load times made me hate having to go back through the yellow lines every time I went the wrong way.

Any answer other than Balmora is empirically incorrect.

Windfall Island

Probably Yharnam

dystopias are always the comfiest

...

...

Beat me to it

>it's not cyberpunk if it's not a rundown shithole
i bet you think mirror's edge isn't cyberpunk

the opposite of comfy

Hong Kong in Deus Ex is super comfy.

What about a town? I vote Stormglen.

Is that supposed to look like a 2D interpretation of Flotsam?

wasted potential

this game could have been so good if it didn't have so many purposefully obnoxious thing about it.

Vizima

Was going to post this with the same comment. Especially since I always went to Noveria last, this brief period to wind down for a second was welcome.

correct answer

Can't find a decent picture, but Catherby is pretty damn comfy.

I would kill for a remake of this. I wonder who even owns the rights to it.

The other town themes were pretty neat too

>mfw spent endless hours player american version
Sold my wheel and have no ambition to play anymore sadly. Thing took up too much space and effort to setup for how little games I used it for.

That is indeed pretty comfy.
3's homestead was comfier, but wasn't a city, hardly even a village.

Yep, confirmed cozy.

>being a gothamfag
Watchtower is the superior hub. Shame the game is on the brink of death though, I really did love it.

Nothing more comfy than fishing in Catherby with that soft ocean music playing.

>flood
>comfy
nah

>No Ellinia
Despite the disgusting grindfest, this game was comfy af

How's american truck simulator? I only played ETS2

Comfiest city to be honest

THQ Nordic currently owns them. Summoner 1 and 2 were released on GOG because of the acquisition.

>supposed to be based off morrowind architecture
>looks nothing like it

...

I'd fucker 'til she believes she's a little boy

Very similar in a lot of ways but in America. As someone who actually visits the areas in the game, they did a good enough job to make it immersive. Plus the online mod is pretty fun and adds even more hours.
