>tfw we'll never see Geralt ever again
Witcher 3
Boring game for lonely waifufags
A game series quitting while it's ahead is a miracle these days
this. I'd rather Geralt go out on a positive note than have him be Andromeda'd
As sad I am to see the end of Geralt's adventure, I can agree with this. Blood and Wine ended the game in a great place and did a service to the tale.
that's probably for the better.
I'm still crying tho
>we all deserve some rest
>smirks at the camera
>in the end.... we were all the witcher 3...
Who would you rather get a cameo in Cyberpunk
Ciri or O'Dimm?
The witcher 3 was boring as all fuck, wasted my money. I hope they stop making games.
O'Dimm could be done in a way that makes sense. Ciri wouldn't fit at all.
>Ciri lives in the Cyberpunk world for months
>she wouldn't make sense at all
Ok
...
I forgot completely about that. Ciri could work too. I still think O'Dimm would work better. I loved how they fit him into Blood and Wine in an obvious way but still subtle enough that some people may have missed it.
>A game series quitting while it's ahead is a miracle these days
This is why I guarantee you TW3 is no the last Witcher game. It may be the last one with Geralt as the protagonist but it is not the last one in the series. Who knows, maybe one day we'll play as a really old Geralt.
>>tfw we'll never see sniff Yen's ass ever again
I wonder what they'll do. Ciri as the lead? Random person? I've never read the books but the quest with the Ugliest Man Alive seemed to imply that Witchers are a dying breed.
Ciri makes sense since she can travel to other dimensions. Plus. when Gerald first rescues her she says there's a place she's been to where he wouldnt understand (I think she describes it alluding to flying cars, but I dont remember exactly).
but user, witchers are in decline, it doesn't make much sense to continue the tale
They'll think of something. There is money to be made there and no one passes on that opportunity.
>seemed to imply that Witchers are a dying breed
They are. Geralt was one of the last full witchers ever made with Ciri being the absolute last and even then she isn't a legit witcher.
I get that she isn't a "real" Witcher, but they should have at least given her a second sword.
Witcher's in a Australia equivalent
hnnnnnnng
>giving Geralt a beard without hairworks on
Disgusting. It looks like someone just glued cotton candy to his face. Or Santa Claus on meth.
>we'll never see paper white bland muh alpha fantasy character again
Oh no.
>Characters that did a lot of wrong but they're so cool that you don't care
Am I the only one who thinks the next Witcher protagonist could be Olgierd with all his powers and shit.
I know its a wildcard choice but I want it to happen!
The only possible reason for another Witcher game to be released is to have it be more like Dragon Age, where you can choose your race and make your own character.
>because of the Avallach incident, the trial of the grasses is no longer a secret
>can choose to be an elf or dwarf or human before becoming a witcher
I don't even need to go any further.
>New game with Eskel as protagonist
>the guy who is on the same level of Geralt but with less notoriety
Eskel deserves more love
>but they should have at least given her a second sword.
did you get the bad ending by any chance?
>where you can choose your race and make your own character.
t. todd howard
We will see him again.
in Soulcalibur VI
You can't tell me that this wouldn't be a perfect idea for a Witcher 4
You should have to pick your school, not your race. Griffon would have better signs, Cat would be faster, Bear would take more damage, etc. A much better alternative to racial stats.
That's absolutely fine. Cyberpunk 2077 will be several orders of magnitude better than The Witcher 3
maybe they'll go way back to around the conjunction of the spheres and tell the story of what led to witcher schools being a thing
There's no way they abandon the Witcher series after how much 3 sold, but who would you play as in Witcher 4? It won't be Geralt and I doubt it'll be Ciri
Colossally noncanonical and highly dumb.
O'Dimm. I like the idea of O'Dimm as the unkillable God of the Witcherverse.
>colossally noncanonical
You're assuming the main character would be a witcher? Either way if they bring the series back they'll move away from the books. The Ciri as a witcher ending also sets up the idea of non-mutated witchers.
