I stopped playing ever since that Iron Golem update. How has it improved since then?
Divert all funding to better games and stop producing Minecraft
Sell it for billions
Try to get the Chinese market/ make Minecraft: Battle Royale
The game went bad once achievements were added.
1.8 stuff was just icing on the cake of shit.
look it up you fucking retard only an autist is going to give you years of changelogs on request
you stupid faggot
Alpha was the best desu. Community was small, no screechers, notch was just some poor passionate guy, and the game was filled with cool bugs you could exploit to make machines.
They added more content, but i miss the satisfaction of using bugs to.my advantage, and lifts that didn't take hours of grinding slimes to get done. Rest in peace boat lifts
Wat did 1.8 do bad? Haven't played in a long time.
This. Beta was never any fun.
1.3 added Jungles and Emeralds
1.4 added Wither, Beacons, and Anvil
1.5 added more redstone uses and Quartz
1.6 added Horses
1.7 added Biomes
1.8 was useless
1.9 fucked combat
1.10 was useless
1.11 was useless except for llamas
1.12 added a bunch of color blocks
...
1.8 Beta ruined terrain generation, gave minecraft an "end" and added hunger bars.
sell it for billions
Added hunger.
>larger randomly generated structures like castles and large towns
>way more furniture and visual clutter you could use to decorate
I'm convinced people who post these never played the game as generating shitty floaty worlds with alpha world generation was possible back then
Rip off terraria as much as possible.
It was weird. The more they added, thr less fun i had. And then the community got awful.
I miss the old community, it was such a nice place. The function over prettiness machinery too, the old-school redstone youtubers are way more fun than nowdays autists. I can build some useful shit from memory real fucking fast. Damn i feel old.
I thought that was release 1.8. Yeah, the new health system sucked.
Release modding API then and there and only fix bugs and performance issues from then on
Alpha world generation was awesome.
Strange cave system, fucked up pretty hills, i miss them.
Also, how can we forget that bedrock didn't cover the whole ground level, nothing like falling to the void.
Not really the thread for it but i've gotta say, i recently started playing it again having not played it since before villages were added and i can't believe how little there is to the game. For such a huge game there really isn't much to do, the nether is pointless and alot of the end game'ish stuff feels total pointless. It's crazy how successful it has being in the grand scheme of things.
pretty much this. usually get bored a few days after starting
I agree Alpha world generation was superior to any later or earlier versions. But FLAOT postsers are fucking stupid.
That was the entire point dingus.
Early Minecraft was good because it had no purpose, no end, no serious mechanics. You just explored, built a house, mined for diamond because why not? Also that inherent progression curve from wood->stone->iron->diamond tools.
add a bunch of good mods like thaumcraft and thermal etc.
i like FLAOT
what is FLAOT?
